What key elements will you focus on when you coach others? Your time with any single person is very limited, so it’s critical that you zero in on the most important lessons. What are they?
Do you belong to some kind of “coaching mastermind group,” where you can share your experiences & questions with other coaches? If not, you should. You will learn and gain more skills much faster when you can learn from the experience of many others who have already figured out solutions for situations you are likely to run into in your own career. GREAT QUESTIONS FOR A COACH
Stephanie, these are all great questions for a coach, I remember so many times when I was in school and I understood what I was being taught, but when it was time to put it into action, I had always wished we did it while we were learning. I think you bring up valid questions. To learn to be a Good Coach, you need to be involved, take action, with your up and coming leaders and with your mastermind group. You will get many questions, with your up and coming leaders that is for sure and you may not have all the answers but you do know where to direct them to get answers. Great article and great value.
