Sir Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion Adepted for Network Marketing
Here's smoe food for thought for your business and your life.
I originally wrote this article back in 2007 but I thought it might be beneficial to share it here with everyone as well.
The law of inertia was the topic of discussion during one of our daily shows at http://RadioForYourMind.com where we provide a morning motivation show/call every Monday - Thursday morning and every Friday morning we do a "Open Mike" Feedback Friday Show/call where people get to share what's happening to them personally and to their teams.
The day that I originally wrote this I decided to adapt Newton's Laws of Motion for Network Marketing.
I hope you find this useful. <!--break-->
Sir Isaac Newton's First Law of Motion Known as (The Law of Inertia)
Lex I: Corpus omne perseverare in statu suo quiescendi vel movendi uniformiter in directum, nisi quatenus a viribus impressis cogitur statum illum mutare.
States that a body at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an outside force, and a body in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.
As "LEADERS" we need to be the outside force that creates the inertia and the and gets people excited and moving every day by showing up early and leading by example.
Sir Isaac Newton's Second Law of Motion Known as (The Law of Acceleration)
Lex II: Mutationem motus proportionalem esse vi motrici impressae, et fieri secundum lineam rectam qua vis illa imprimitur.
States that the rate of change of momentum of a given body is directly proportional to an outside force acting upon the body and being applied in the same direction.
As "LEADERS" we need to be the outside force that creates the acceleration and sustains that same level of excitement to keep people motivated and accelerating on a daily basis by showing up early and leading by example by constantly enrolling and sponsoring new people into our business and not counting on our team to do what we are not doing our selves.
Sir Isaac Newton's Third Law of Motion Known as (The Law of Reciprocal Action)
Lex III: Actioni contrariam semper et æqualem esse reactionem: sive corporum duorum actiones in se mutuo semper esse æquales et in partes contrarias dirigi.
States that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
As "LEADERS" we need to understand that the harder that we try to push someone the more that person will resist. We need to create an environment where our people want to join in a be a part of what we are doing. This goes hand-in-hand with an expression we have in the military which states..."It's easier to run with one hundred people than it is to drag one dead body."
Dead bodies are people that we may want to help but for whatever reason don't want to help themselves and are not engaging. We need to show these people unconditional love and know that when the time is right for them they will engage and if they choose not to then it's their loss.
