Hello everyone,

John Maxwell is my favorite author and leadership guru. I will post one law every day for the next 21 days. Enjoy and learn!

1. The Law of the Lid

The lower an individual's ability to lead, the lower the lid on his potential. The higher the individual's ability to lead, the higher the lid on his potential.

I believe that success is within the reach of just about everyone. But I also believe that personal success without leadership ability brings only limited effectiveness. Wherever you look, you can find smart, talented, successful people who are able to go only so far because of the limitations of their leadership. The higher you want to climb, the more you need leadership.

AWESOME!

I was forced to look in the mirror at one point because while I had that leadership quality, I needed to sit down under other leaders greater than myself and LISTEN and LEARN from them so I could move forward and bring others with me. Every great leader follows someone greater than themselves.

John Maxwell is certainly on of the icons in the Personal Development industry. I have several of his courses and I never tire of the beneficial and stimulating content contained in his work.
