These are the 5 must do things leaders do every single day to become the success they are. Follow these 5 steps and you're on your way to becoming the leader you have always wanted to be.

1 You MUST: Visualize what your goal is! This can be a long term goal, such as how much money do I want to make in the next year. This can also be a short term goal such as getting the things you need to do today! It doesn't matter what it is. However you visualize, whether its through meditation, prayer etc, know what you need to do to get it done! Remember this: Any goal without a deadline is just a wish!

2. You MUST: Be productive with income producing activities! Having a plan to start your day will disallow the time that you are checking email, Facebook, Twitter etc. Ask yourself, "Will the things I am doing right now, bring me the money ans success I want? Your goals that you have set for the day should have some income producing activities or you may not make any money that day or week. Keep your focus on your

3. You MUST: Work on Yourself! Yes, that's personal development. Success can definitely change a person. You have to know how to deal with the success. Success can go to one's head and change their personality for the worst. A great leader expects success. Failure can also change a person. A lot of times people get frustrated when they fail. People can turn for the worst. Working on your personal development gives you the faith to get through trouble, not around it! Not enough people exercise their own intellectual effort. I think this is one of the most important traits you must possess. Remember this: Failures are essential to success and are lessons in disguise.

4. You MUST: Mastermind with other leaders! What does this mean? You have to surround yourself with the people you want to become. Sometimes your sponsor/mentor can be in another state or even country and the face to face time isn't possible. Ask him/her what you can do to stay plugged in. This can be training calls, webinars, or even reading books, or listening to helpful CD's. Surround yourself with these people. Success can attract success. Look at the people you are currently surrounded with. Are these the right people to surround yourself to become the successful person I want to be?

5. You MUST: Have to be positioned at the top! This means position yourself at the top of your compensation plan to get the maximum reward you've earned. A lot of people make the mistake or not being at the top. Some compensation plans may allow "pass up" sales to the ones that are positioned to earn them. And I'll agree, some positions come with a pretty steep price tag. But hey, if I can spend a little to make a lot, this is a no brainer.

So take this article, print this out and keep it on your desk to remind you the things you have to do every day to become successful as a leader.
