The Elephant and the Mind

We have been talking a lot about the subconscious mind and the role that it plays in our life.
It is the part of our mind that never sleeps...
If one were at the seashore and ran down to the waters edge and filled up the bucket with sea water, the water contained in the bucket would represent the conscious mind...the part that uses reason, logic and the five senses.
The ocean would then represent the subconscious mind...the part of the mind that finds solutions outside of logic and reason.
99% of our decisions are actually made by the subconscious ...
We are where we are right now because of the decisions that our subconscious has made for us...the thing is that the subconscious has probably been programmed with thoughts that are not in harmony with the abundant life that we can have.
Instead it may be programmed with lack and instead of abundance ...not believing that we DESERVE a great life.
It is like the human on a trained elephant ...with a nudge and a word ...the elephant can push down a tree, pick it up, and put it on the top of a pile of logs.
What would happen if the human decided to send the elephant to the tent and try to push down the tree...or to move a log ...much less pick it up.
That elephant is like our subconscious...it has to be trained.
One of the ways to train the subconscious is through the use of pictures and visualization.
Visualize life as you would like it to be...be open to the solution.
Write it down and get as many details into it that you can.
Doing a mind movie is an excellent way to get started ...that will lead to your "Why"
Another way to program that powerful subconscious of yours is to get some audios of personal development that you trust and then listen to them at night as you are going to sleep...your conscious will go to sleep but your subconscious that never sleeps will learn the new concepts and your subconscious will start to make decisions out of your new way of thinking.
It is the only way that we can make a lifestyle change going say from lack to abundance and to attract the things that we have always wanted .

but be careful
the power of the mind is strong over our emotions and also whether or not we are satisfied with our life. make sure your goals are reasonable because you will get stuck in an endless loop of dreaming your life away. your time will be consumed by an ever enveloping feeling that you are not worthy just because you set your goals too high. try to take baby steps and make small goals not even worrying about what the future will be after you reach your goal. and then every time you achieve your goal make a new one and you will find after enough time that you achieved what you originally subconsciously wanted.
