If You Don't Make Some Money Fast, You're Going To Get "The DOG House" (again!)and We Both Know That's A Fact! Get Traffic + Money Before "Honey" Pulls The Plug! Fill Out The Form & Get My Book...
Why YouTube, Your Blog, EzineArticles and Your Guru Can NOT Save You...
Thousands of people will continue to look for the
magic widget, system, guru or comp plan...
Thousands more will study some form of technical
marketing like SEO, Syndication and Facebook Fan Page
wizadry... and they'll get really good at backlinking and
"automatic" social networking (whatever the hell that is)...
You can spend time and $10,000 more dollars this year
and fly off to all kinds of Guru Seminars and study with
Marketing Jedi #15 and learn how to drive mass traffic
to your web nirvana site...
Listen...
But when they show up, if what they see, hear and read
from you is not compelling and ripped with confidence and
power... the shoe drops and the show is over.
Everyone just snickers at your weak attempt to play
marketing grown up and then your boss - at work - will
forever own you and its more of the same 9-5 frustration.
What does "compelling" mean?
Compelling (Adj.): (1) Tend to compel; use of mental force
and give reason to (2) To have an irresistible effect; inducing
acute admiration, attention and respect.
You can work your tail off and "cut" a new hot YouTube
video until your lungs explode.
Go ahead. Give the internet "branding" guru (#14) $3,000
and guess what?
If when the new video techniques you implement work
and you do drive some looky-loos to your front door
(fresh hot leads), if what they see, hear and read from
you is not compelling, all will be for not; a complete waste;
and they will walk directly away from you.

They Can Pin Anybody Right Into A Corner With

And follow...
Rule 1: No one you know, be it a stranger or friend is emotionally
ready to give you money for what you sell; product, service or idea.
Rule 2: To be compelling is to have people FORCE THEMSELVES to
listen more and listen harder to you.
Rule 3: People who have perfected marketing through YouTube
have perfected being compelling.
Rule 4: They aren't trying to sell you as much as they are fighting
to get you to STAY with them.
Rule 5: The game is to be so arresting, that the "lead" hops to
your website and /or emails you.
Rule 6: People will drive for miles and miles just to watch a man
"catch on fire." Are you compelling? Are you confident?
Rule 7: The game is to capture people's minutes. To get them to
stay with you for just one more minute.
Rule 8: Minutes add up to hours and within hours they learn to
trust you enough to buy from you.
Rule 9: You need to rehearse and practice speaking, writing and
BEING compelling.
Study compelling people and world changers.
Study their life stories. GIANTS of life can't help but leave clues.

Wise Words, Franco
Yes... Like it, I do. The force is strong in this one!
Sad to say, Franco, that many IN our industry will listen to these 25K per month residual income producing nuggets and react with the same combination of fear and skepticism that we've ALL experienced when trying to introduce our networking businesses to new people OUTSIDE the industry. I've watched it happen.
So they'll go on to dump "mo' money" into the pockets of Guru #16 thinking... THIS is the one that's gonna put me over the top!
And then that doesn't work either which torpedos their confidence, making them terrified to recuit, which leads to MLM BUSINESS FAIL and DEBT and BAD MOUTHING the industry.
"When they tell you it's easy, it's because they've got shears in their back pocket and they're waiting to shear you like a sheep" - Joe Schroeder
You compelled me!
Hey Franco.
You just compelled me, like you say in the article, so congrats ;)
I agree with you.
The Internet is just a tool to SHOW YOURSELF to a very high amount of people. But if those people don't like you, you won't make money.
Thank you for the article ;)
Yup
Dead on.
People study and listen to the wrong types of people
Kevin - so true. And I don't blame them. When all you study is how people fail... and all you hear is how things won't work - or how so and so failed at this or that... If mediocrity and failure is all that your conscious mind is "learning" from life... you never give your subconscious mind the time of day to believe anything but "CAN'T" even exists...
But when people study others who achieve big things from nothing...
When people study top producers in real estate, consulting, small business or any field or passion - they'll see that those top achievers believe in a whole different reality...
And even if you don't go so deep... talk network marketing = relationships + marketing + sales = profitable business...
Study an executive recruiter that's at the top of their game.
Study a really successful auto sales person in your town.
Study a really successful realtor in your neighborhood.
They all have a certain way.
They believe different things.
They read certain books or blogs.
They just flat out live different.
And they operate within a structure.
It's numbers + messages + marketing + relationshipping +
pleasing personality + adding increase into others...
You very rarely find them rolled up in the fetal position
speaking self doubt into themselves... yet many in our "industry"
figuratively do just that... no "system" can save them.
They MUST change who they believe they are and who they believe
they can be to others, before anything in their life "will work."
RAMON POLO!!!
You bet Champion, thanks for stopping by and adding to the discussion. Be sure to email or message me any time you post up new vids or articles man!
You may be authentic, but are your relationships?
I agree, your points are vital! Our desire and focus must be consistent in order to be a budding, growing, and evolving leader in any area of expertise and achieve our full potential as an earning professional. It's not easy, it takes time, discipline, and steadfast commitment. The greatest majority of us are just not cut out to do it all in the long run.
I also believe the greatest pitfall in an effort to be 'more' and 'do' more than everyone else, is how the authenticity of our relationships may be diluted by the shear number of relationships our authenticity has been promised to over time. This is when the good signs and promise of great success may cloud reasoning, rationalize excuses, and cause us to lose site of the 'relationship' premise our success was rightfully founded upon in the first place.
Thank you for the opportunity to point out that truly 'authentic relationships' are KEY in the beginning, must be protected along the way, and are doubly important upon the attainment of our success. I think we must all watch what 'we're' doing and check our thinking often or we run the REAL risk of not knowing we're off track altogether and being destined to crash and burn.
It's a bummer when anything on account of this happens, to those of us who least expect it! Keep coaching Franco, you've always had it going on in the most authentic ways.
I agree 100%
Franco, this article was right on the money with rules people must implement pronto.
C
Rule #1
I believe that is my FAVORITE because...
Once I understood that...
I figured out WHY I felt so ICKY trying to build my business years ago...
I mean, I THOUGHT everyone wanted what I had...LOL!
BIG mistake!
Thanks Franco, GREAT article!
And the rest of the RULES are RIGHT ON!
Prove to be an expert? I dont' I did... I picked up my phone...
I can understand how many people think that you first have to "prove" to be an "expert" etc, etc... but to be honest, I never fell for that. Too easy to say, "Well I'm not - so this is not for me..." and wallow in self "can't" all over again. I didn't give myself that excuse...
What I did is notice what the market was saying, plain as day: "This or that leader or "goo-roo" didn't call me back!" "They don't respond to my questions or emails..."
So I took what many thought was a disadvantage and turned it into my opportunity. FACT: Very busy, successful people can't possible personally service everyone in their marketing systems...
I was new. I CAN!
I also noticed that much of our industry was new people looking for basic "how to" info... not a PhD in marketing psychology.
So I WILLED myself to be the newbie's google. I just did what many people were too lazy to do for themselves... they'd ask about how to do something, or why to do something...
I'd go do their homework... and come back with workable ideas, concepts, how to's and info that served them (step 1).
No need to be an "expert"... I just applied "Do YOU!" and serve.
Then without a doubt, they'd email or call and request some time...
And that was my MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY... NOBODY can do what I can do:
I called them back with a smile, listened and networked. I started to build a relationship... things came up... and people went through my info... like a process + relationship.
I replied to their emails sincerely... and took the time to invite them to call me. Relationships.
This gave me the unfair but very real advantage of the "Power Newbie!" The big studs just could not provide this level of personalized "boutique" consultative service and it built my business. A real business.
So... don't get hung up over thinking you have to be "this" or "that" --- just BE YOU. And serve others. You have massive advantages if you're new that the biggest just don't have anymore...
Leverage YOU.

The Article states why I follow you and Your Team Franco
As a member of your team in Simple Freedom
and now MMM for one year plus and you know
this since I've told you
I'm blessed to have found you.
As a teacher and a compass really.
You and your team.
And those you follow,Joe and Diane....etc.
True mentors who are not afraid to say it as it is.
I did not buy into the replicated sites stuff
a few years ago and it's the guru's fault because
he did not call me back ...and hey
...your "system does not work"...and all this
whinny sh---that I see and you must see
x10 of what I see.
That stuff almost made me get off the internet forever.
Not kidding Franco.
I could not and still can't believe that these folks are
adults.
I know one thing that is a truism...
YOU GOTA BE BAD TO BE GOOD.
I was and still am an athlete.
You know my main sport brother.
Hockey.
Love BBall too.
Played college ball.
In both these sports we did some thing weird.
We practiced....a lot.
I lived on skates as a kid from
5-20.
When I was not on the ice...I practiced
my wrist shot, snap shot and slap shot against our old
garage.
Until I broke my Dads car window.
The had to find somewhere else.
Same with Basket ball.
Shooting hoops and lay ups and looking
for games all day long in the summer time.
Working out to increase my vertical and cardio.
Daily.
YOU GOTA BE BAD TO BE GOOD.
So why would IM and NWMIng and marketing psychology
and blogging and videos and article marketing and
marketing as a whole....etc...BE ANY DIFFERENT?
Hey I'm having a tough time today.
Doing technical stuff.
I'm a 55 year old now semi technophobe.
Gone from just technophobe to semi.
You see I practiced the last couple of years.
A lot and still do.
So that's a mature guy's take on
what you wrote here buddy.
Great post and about time you got recognized here Franco.
Build Relationships and Offer Value First!
You are right on Franco, so many people approach this type of business, thinking that they will "get rich quick" and that is just not the case. Success takes hard work and determination and anyone promising these get rich quick schemes sould be banned from the internet, in my humble opinion. Of course this will never happen, but you get my point. Work hard and always learn new techniques. Do these two things and nothing can stop you, if you believe in yourself!
Very Compelling!
Wow! What a post! and followup Post! Man That Nicholas Doud he compelled me I like what he said! YOU GOTA BE BAD TO BE GOOD! But hes right, You have to be great to be good!
Right on Franco!
It's the formula that will not get you there, so if you want to spin your weals a little longer it's ok, we'll be right here when you're ready to take your business more seriously.
Leave the Marketing Jedi and start studying the truth!
Right on Target
Good post! Yes, your message has to be compelling and you have to have confidence or you'll simply spin your wheels with no real results. I especially enjoy rule number 9: "You need to rehearse and practice speaking, writing and BEING compelling." Right on!
Complete Wisdom Franco..
Mr. Gonzalez, just LIKE music..
LOve it BRO!!
Once people also learn to unlock the SELF-IMAGE and EGO that so easily entangles them to execute... they can then become irresistible
Thanks again,
God Bless,
Ontarian
Amazing!
Love your article! Definitely something all of us should master and be aware of! We have to be so compelling and unique so that the person watching or reading something we made cannot resist but to read and know more about us! Thank you for sharing this!
TWO THUMBS UP!
The only reason I can't give it any more is cause I only have two thumbs. :)
Also you said...."Hey guys, thanks for your comments and insights! Powerful. Be sure to "connect" with me here on BN and TIP ME OFF when you post too so I can send some love your way."
What a GREAT example of what BN is all about. Looking forward to working with you!
"catch on fire." ... you did on this one!
All I can say is WOW! Excellent points, especially, #7 capturing the minutes - and, #6 people driving to see a man catch on fire ...
Compelling content period
Incredible Franco,
Your article rocks with reach out and grab you content. Like Eric above, love your Rule #7: "The game is to capture people's minutes". To me this sums it. Confident, relevant, informative content will do that for me. By the way yours did. Best wishes.
