Will the real Entrepreneur Inside you, Please Stand Up!
Interpretation of an Entrepreneur
An entrepreneur is an individual who accepts financial risks and undertakes new financial ventures. The word derives from the French "entre" (to enter) and "prendre" (to take), and in a general sense applies to any person starting a new project or trying a new opportunity.
What’s your interpretation?
I just had to write this because, I am so angry (trying not to swear) at people calling themselves entrepreneurs and not standing up to the challenge. Yes, I’m talking about the ones that call themselves entrepreneurs and then whinge about not making money, spamming others on social networking sites, touting their next great product they have. To make matters worse they don’t even bother to introduce themselves first before they start spruiking about their latest and greatest juice they have just discovered. Then to top that off, they then say “ if there is any way I can help you with in your business just let me know”. Aaaahhhhhh! So annoying!!!
What makes these so called entrepreneurs think that I need their help? If I need their help they would be in a position where they have branded themselves as a leader and I would then find them and tap into their online resources and be on their list.
And of course that’s what we all do, no matter how large you have grown your business online there will always be someone else out there that knows more than you and has more to offer than you. There is no one at the top of the ladder, even the top entrepreneurs are still climbing and have a mentor that they aspire to. But my point is you will find them because they have positioned themselves as a leader.
How do you position yourself as a leader online?
1. The fastest way to position yourself as a leader online is to hang out with other leaders and experts in your industry.
2. Educating yourself in every aspect of online marketing is a must. You can’t just appear online and expect to succeed. There are experts online that can help you and systems in place that can teach you.
3. As you learn, start to share your knowledge with others and give them value because this knowledge will help other new people to your industry.
4. When you show others that you know what you are talking about they will follow you and perhaps eventually join your business.
5. If you make a mistake learn from it, pick yourself up and move forward, we have all made mistakes and they can only make you stronger!
6. Have a point of difference to your business and don’t be a sheep or you will never stand out as a leader.
These are only a few things needed to be successful... I could go on, but I think you get where I’m coming from.

Stand up and Cheer!
Great post. Totally agree with the spammers that try and look like gurus or elite... I'm even happier to see so many of them falling by the wayside when they're tactics didn't work and they go back crying that they didn't make any money.
Being an entrepreneur means you are the business and any business will not rise and grow without a sound foundation. Show me one successful business that has endured that made a profit in the first 3 years.
