being a high performance entrepreneur takes committment: to yourself, your goals, and your team - FOCUS is a good place to begin. here are my third set of 5 golden nuggets to help that combination of business and personal mindset you can't be an entrepreneur without.

5 golden rules for the high performance entrepreneur

the high performance entrepreneurs

11. keep building your self belief and confidence

the more you do / action you take will create a momentum in yourself, you may need to push yourself over some hurdles, in fact, expect to, (get some help here if things are tough) but the change in yourself as you move on gives you a confidence kick, and believing in yourself drives more passion into your business, which in turn makes your goals seem more achievable

12. surround yourself with positive energy

quite simply here, be around positive people, vibes and things that keep you feeling upbeat. try to avoid negative influences, and if not possible, then try to let them stay on the surface, or roll off, and as soon as you can, get something positive in - often listening to music, or an audio tape, or, if you can share your feelings, a positive ear!!

13. grow daily and think big

try to move out of your comfort zone - take it in small steps if you need to, but keep at it until that action becomes more comfortable - BINGO! - thrive on that feeling of achievement, and self belief - and take one more step forwards - BE BRAVE, create that growth, and keep your eye on the next step

14. never, never, never give up

perseverance and determination will overcome all. at the same time you need to keep your eye on the ball (perhaps even change course) and be following the right path for you - a mentor and a system should keep you on track here, then if you don't give up. you can't fail

One simple statement by Ray Higdon really sums this up:

Discipline Trumps Talent

15. get up - dust yourself off and get on with it

remember those hurdles I mentioned - well sometimes you don't make it over the first time! Get up, dust yourself off and Get on! You must find the strength to have another go, and do it differently the next time - again it helps to have someone to help you view these things as an experience, and adjust your course next time - learn from the bruises!

When you feel like giving up - Don't feel despair, a failure and miserable - Just think, this is a hurdle, and I will get over it, then re-group your resources and emotions and move on

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow"...."
...Mary Anne Radmacher
