Are you committed to creating a successful home-based business?
If anyone had asked me if I was committed to my home business, I would have said yes. “Of course, I’m committed. I’m doing the work, aren’t I?” But was I, really?
We recently discussed commitment on my company team call. My mentor, Michael Dlouhy, describes commitment as “being all in.” Am I willing to do what I need to do to build my business? Am I willing to focus on the essentials, the training and the system to attract prospects to my business?
Well, I was, sort of. But not really! Michael Dlouhy says that saying your self-talk at least 100 times a day is a crucial piece to building a successful home business. I came up with excuses of why I couldn’t say my self-talk 100 times a day. So of course, I didn’t do it.
Self-talk is your affirmation of what you want to create in your business. For example, my self-talk is “I’m having fun and helping others creating the largest, most profitable, highest retention multi-million dollar network marketing business easily and consistently through education and teamwork.”
This week, I bit the bullet and started saying my self-talk at least 100 times a day. It was amazing! I started saying my self-talk on my way to work, while going on errands at work, whenever I had a negative thought or was surrounded by people making negative comments. I was flooding my mind with what I wanted to create in my business and how I would do it.
Consequently my subconscious mind gave me ideas on solutions to challenges that I was experiencing in my business. For example, I realized that I haven’t been doing enough work on social media sites
consistently since I started my new job. So I decided to get up an hour earlier and work on social media sites before I go to work.
Are you feeling frustrated that you aren’t experiencing the success you want in your network marketing business? Be honest with yourself. Are you truly committed to building your business? Are you following the guidance of your mentors? Do you have a mentor, someone coaching you on exactly what to do build a successful home business?
Have you created self-talk that describes what you want to create with your home business? If you
haven’t created self-talk for your business, feel free to borrow mine. You can modify it to ensure that it reflects your truth and your vision for your business.
Goethe says it all – “Until one is committed there is always hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always
ineffectiveness, there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, Raising to one’s favour all manner of unforeseen accidents and meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamed would come his way. Whatever you can do or dream you can begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
Be bold! Build a successful home based business and create magic with your life.

We must be all the way in. We have to say our self talk because if we do not we are then asking for nothing and in that case we get nothing. The article is really briliiant!!
