Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Taken

Read More: Mindset

This title is one of my favorite quotes by Oscar Wilde. It has such a perfect message for belief in yourself, that you should recognize and value your own unique talents.

Making the best of your true talents doesn't preclude your learning new things and growing, but if you know that you are no less perfect than the next person and give yourself credit where it's due, you'll be more productive and creative utilizing those gifts to their fullest.

This is a truly inspiring video, about a dog who was initially trained to be a service dog, but who just didn't quite cut it. However, her talents and unique gift was recognized and made the best of, to her greatest satisfaction. I think this story just illustrates this whole point beautifully!

Precious

I love how the dog (and people) come alive when we find what we are meant to do in life. I am so glad you posted this. Loved it.

Release People In Your Life To Be Who They Want To Be!

Very touching story Vicki, and a great lesson to be learned. Not just dog's will excel so will those people in our lives that we release to be who they want to be, Not who we want then to be!

Thanks so much for sharing

THANKS!!!

I needed that! You summed it up nicely, Vicki: "...know that you are no less perfect than the next person and give yourself credit where it's due." I wonder why this seemingly simple realization is so hard for us humans to get into our heads? Thanks for taking me one step further. :-)

Vicki

You live what you speak.

People can see through falseness...............let us be real and show the world what gifts we have been given and accept the people we were meant to be.

Hugs and love Jan
