Donny Osmond Can Teach A Few Things to Entrepreneurs

I just read two articles here at Betternetworker about Donny Osmond. Now who would have ever thought Donny Osmond and networkers marketers / entrepreneurs would have something in common? I never thought I’d see an article about him here, that’s for sure but I can see the reasoning behind it after reading these articles.

The first article by Barbara Silva titled: "Donny Osmond and Self Development: The Surprising Connection with Entrepreneurs" really caught me by surprise. It really got my curiosity in gear because I couldn’t figure out why Barbara would be writing about him.

Now I see her rational and she is so right. Here’s a guy who has had obstacles that for most people would be enough to stop them in their tracks and give up. They would have had plenty of reasons to put it all into the ‘too hard basket’, throw  up their hands and say “it’s all too hard”.

I wonder how many marketers and network marketers have given up even with small challenges and obstacles. I bet you know a few yourselves, I know I do.

Success is all about overcoming  challenges, obstacles and excuses .Success is going after what is important to you , no matter what.  Success for some might be money but for others, moving forward and’overcoming’ is enough.

As networkers and entrepreneurs we are presented with many reasons to give up and quit. We whine, make excuses and come up with all sorts of reasons to give up. This isn’t what Donny did.

Lee Ann McVey then wrote another article about him. Not another one??? This one is called: "Donny Osmond – A Positive Role Model for a New Generation" Now here is a mother of teenage boys who uses Donny Osmond as a role model. Imagine that! But again, I can see why.

I hope that after reading those articles you can understand why Donny Osmond has a few things to teach us about life and success.

So ‘hats off ‘ to you Donny Osmond and thanks for showing the world how to be a success.
