Have you made the commitment?
Richard B. Brooke wrote: "The more committed one is, the luckier they are". But what is luck? It's often defined as a chance happening, or that which happens beyond a person’s control. Do you run your business on luck? Are you throwing out articles, creating blog entries, making friends on the social sites and counting on luck to build your business? Or have you committed to following a plan?
The art of making a commitment is a character trait we can choose to practice. We make a commitment with the full and conscious intention of bringing it to fruition. And we keep coming back to that commitment over and over again as often as we need to, until it takes on a course of its own or becomes part of us... a habit. Just making a commitment doesn't mean we will not have failures, and there are days when all we can think about is how and why it makes perfect sense to forget it. But if we are committed, when we are through complaining about it we return to our commitment and get back on track.
In my article "Proper mindset whatever it takes" I made a commitment to myself and my family that I would do whatever it takes to build my home business. I made a commitment that I would learn and study anything and everything I could get my hands on to improve my knowledge and my mindset so that I was not only successful in my business but would be capable of leading and teaching others to successfully build their businesses. I made the commitment to the universe. I knew I needed to change some of my personality traits so that I truly was attractive to work with. There were parts that needed to grow up and parts that needed to lighten up. Parts that needed to listen up and parts that needed to shut up. But I made the commitment. I joined a group of masterminds that truly have my interest at heart. Make a commitment, come join us! http://lestaylormarketing.com

Commitment helps you stick to it like a stamp
Wow, Les! Commitment is so key. Great article. I read in an article here on BN yesterday that trust, respect and transparency are the 3 things required to stand out as a leader. You got something going on here!
In Order To Earn More We Have To Become More !
I really like this article you wrote Les.
It reminds me of the transformation that I am going through in building my own business. I have made a commitement to myself and to my family to put in 5 strong years, so I can build my income up enough to retire from my full time job. Financial Freedom has been my Dream for about 30 years now. I finally found the right mastermind group to teach me the skills I need to earn a full time income online and off. I have the ball in my hands now and I'm not going to stop until I reach my Goal. That's When The Real Fun Begins :-D
Thanks For Perking Me Up Les,
I Appreciate You,
Your Friend For Life,

So very true!
Thank you, Les, for my daily lesson: "Just making a commitment doesn't mean we will not have failures, and there are days when all we can think about is how and why it makes perfect sense to forget it. But if we are committed, when we are through complaining about it we return to our commitment and get back on track." :-D
