Home Business - real or just a dream?

Over a 28 year span of working in the corporate world I have had contact with thousands of people. At the same time I also do have friends in various professional career environments such as lawyers, SEO's, Managing Directors, Head Masters and 99% of these people have indicated to me at one time or another that they actually HATE their jobs. I myself had some difficulty at times to survive the office politics and strange management decisions that we had to live with.

But strangely enough, most people still try to "stick it out" just because they are so use to getting paid at the end of the month to pay their dept and to stay in the rat race because without a job, they will not be able to survive. Problem to me is the fact that no matter what sort of income you generate swapping your time for money, you still end up with dept and a pension plan that will allow you to barely keep up your lifestyle after retirement. Look, don't get me wrong, I honestly don't think working in a 9 - 5 deadend job is all bad; we all do have to have some sort of income to stay alive, but very few people I know of earning a living this way has ever really lived. It takes a lot just to survive on this road, never mind to live.

To really live a life of abundance, you have to be free. Not just financially, but also free to make your own disicions about what you want to do with your time. This unfortunately costs money; real money. There is a saying that time is money, but I belief money can buy you time. If you don't need to swap your time for money, you are in charge of what you want to spend your time on. This is not easy when you have to work at a day job and sometimes to make ends meet, you also have to moonlite at another venue. Even my friends that have their own businesses are also complaining that they have to spend most of their time at the business otherwise "things" get out of hand.

This is the reason I believe that the opportunities that do exist to run your own home based business is the answer to many a souls prayers. Once again, nothing is always what it seems to be; getting into the right home based business is a job on its own. There are such a lot of scams and schemes going around, that it's actually frightning; you can very easilly land yourself in deep water if you don't do your homework properly before spending money on this type of business opportunity. This road has proven to be the most dubious off all; millions of people accross the world have tried and failed, but for the few that made it, it stays a dream come true. A dream where traffic jams and high stress levels just does not exist. A dream where finacial burdens means that you are not to sure where to spend your money.

Unfortunately not everyone that tries, will end up with their dream; but I still belief that if you don't try, you will never know!
