How's Your "Toyota" Business Running?

Have you seen the new Toyota commercial on TV where they are owning up to the inferior quality of vehicles they have produced recently?
The commercial goes on to say that they have stopped production on all new vehicle orders so their employees can spend whatever amount of time it takes to correct their past mistakes.
I also received an email from Toyota today (I don’t own a Toyota or Lexus product): It basically read, "Millions of Toyota & Lexus Vehicles Recalled!; Gas Pedal & Floor Mat DEFECTS; Are you a victim...; Recall alert - click here".
I can just imagine how many Toyota & non-Toyota owners are having a cow about the recalls. I can picture a stampede of people running into the Toyota dealer with clubs in hand ready to club to death anyone associated with such a faulty product.
Here's the way I see it: I say "Kudos" to Toyota for backing their product. It took a lot of guts and initiative to admit they were wrong, but they are going to do "whatever it takes" to make it right.
How many times have you made a mistake in your business, but are just too ashamed or embarrassed to step up and fix it?
I can relate the network marketing business to Toyota. We all have a "product" to sell; we build a customer base and when things go awry, we generally shut down production and run. i.e. Hopping from one business to another when it fails. Or, umm, should I say when we fail.
A product cannot fail without human nature being involved.
Maybe next time something goes awry in our business, we should take the time to stop production and make it right.
This will build incredible character and our customers will realize, "Hey, I'm actually working with a real person".
This is a sign of a Great Leader!! Are you a Great Leader??
