-Visualization as a Powerful Technique for Success

Let me ask you this question; are you living the life of your dreams?
If you are, congratulations.

For the rest of you, why not?

Do you hold a vivid vision of what you’re perfect lifestyle would look like?

Do you often consider the following questions:

How are you spending your time?
Who are you spending it with?
What kind of person have you become?
Where do you live?
How do you give back, what causes do you support?
What condition is your health in?
What are you relationships like?
What house do you live in, what car do you drive?
How do you have fun (travel, cottage, hiking, kayaking, sailing, etc…)
Do you go to sporting events, theatre, concerts?
Do you hire a chef; take up cooking classes, frequent fine-dining restaurants?
Who do you associate with?
What books are you reading? Do you have a library?

Let me share this secret with you.

If you read books by people who understand success, attend seminars by people who have mastered human potential, and surround yourself with people who are successful or are on the path toward success you will understand what it takes to be living your ideal life.

You’ll also pick up on principles successful people share and they repeatedly swear by.
(Read ‘Success Principles’- Jack Canfield)

Now, I know that’s not what you came to read, but, I can’t stress that point enough.

If you don’t have an answer to all of those questions, if you don’t know how you’re going to live ‘once you reach your financial goals’, then you’re not going to think much differently once you do reach your financial goals.

You’re dream lifestyle will remain a ‘dream’ until you take the time to figure it out.

Look at it this way, why is it that countless self-made success stories swear by the concept of visualization? From self-made millionaires, to world-class athletes, top-notch performers, artists, best-selling authors, etc…

They ALL make use of this powerful technique REGULARLY to prepare for the outcome they desire and train their brains to recognize and look for resources in their environment that will help them turn those visions into reality.

From Einstein, to Bill Gates, Oprah, Donald Trump, Anthony Robbins, Leonardo da Vinci, and any athlete serious about competing to win in the Olympics, to name but a few.

Nowadays, if all of your opponents are using visualization to mentally rehearse their strategy, sporting event, business presentation, Oscar-winning performance or anything they are competing for and you’re NOT using visualization yourself, you’re putting yourself at an extreme disadvantage.

Think about it, we can use Neuroimaging to take a brain scan as someone is performing visualization- and what happens?
You can see immediate PHYSICAL changes in the brain as a result of a single thought.

You perceive everything in your environment through senses that the brain interprets.
So there is no difference in your brain if the thought is imagined or manifested in your physical environment.
It reacts the same to both.

There is so much out there on the subject of visualization and the power of thoughts I could go on but I’ll leave you with your own sense of curiosity to research it further.

To Your Success,
Ter ox

Reading, Listening, & Participating...

Your article is great and inspirational. Your title caught my eye but I was a bit skeptical and then truly enjoyed it. We need to step out and create some activity to achieve our dreams. Great success to you. Cheers.

I've taken a new approach to my city- through the eyes of a tourist.
