I see a lot of folk today marketing their home based business online and for the most part, I see a lot of the same crap.  Most folks are just on the internet with no logic throwing cash at advertisements and spamming social media outlets, spamming forums and a lot of other utterly moronical non sense.  <!--break--!>Then those folks are the same folk who protest or are confused when they get no quantifiable results and then they blame their miss fortunes on others rather than accepting responsibility for the foolishness that landed them in there latest position.  So they blame Jim Yaghi because his PAY PER CLICK course announced this, blame Raymond Fong because his S.E.O course claimed that or blame Jonathan Budd because his Facebook course stated that they could get "double leads" or Brian and Norbert because the system is to long to line up, or Mike Dillard simply for purpose.  It's basically pretty frustrating to look at, I mean seriously.  

What these Mike Dillard basher blokes fail to realize is they screwed up.  If you come into any industry you have to have the basics down packed before it's possible to do the advanced stuff.  Some people go online and buy S.E.O Networker or Traffic Graviator before they know what a domain is.  That's foolish, it's like taking Calculus before you know the Pythagorean theory or Algebra, your success is very unlikely.  I recollect back when I owned my personal R.E company and I used to bump into what I called real-estate dreamers and not real-estate doers.  The worst was a mortgage guy ( so called ) who didn't have Calyx.  Now anybody in mortgages knows that is like the 1 mortgage software out there, there are a few that are comparable, but he did not have those either.  He also didn't have any banks to submit loans.  He actually just read a book that told him the best way to find backers.  So he found us and then thought he could wing it from there.  What a waist of 15 minutes, we giggled uncontrolably as stormed out of our office crying.  

You see you can't start a business based primarily on positioning, branding and attraction till you learn that first.  Before you even think about starting a home-run business it is imperative that you read Magnetic Sponsoring or something like it.  
I'm not going to assert these days that you can't get that very same level of info from another source it is feasible.  You see Mike Dillard has magnetic sponsoring set up in a specific way to beat the selling dummy out of a new person so that they can view the rest they read about the industry from the right lens.  You are setting your business back 5 years minimum by not knowing those beliefs.  You see Mike Dillard magnetic sponsoring is like microsoft office.  It works its awesome everybody uses it and most of all you know it works.  The rest is like purchasing an off brand.  Often that off brand will blow Microsoft Office out of the park and occasionally you'll have waisted your time and your money.  So only buy other things at the beginning at the recommendation of a valued resource.  

Truthfully all I'm attempting to say is you aren't in this home run business industry till you understand it. Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring will assist you in doing that.  

Folks who understand the strategies in that book don't :

1 ) Spam home business forums with stupid links about the proven fact that their product is a special spice from the Kukamunga Tribe in South America and you've got to hop in on the ground floor now.  
2 ) Send uncalled-for e-mails to folks about how great their comp plan is.  
3 ) Get into a my product is way better than yours debate with somebody.  
4 ) Lead with their opportunity cold without creating a relationship
5 ) Send Pay-per-click traffic to company copied sites
6 ) Call other business's tricksters or scams in a hope that it makes them look better
7 ) Put "Ground Floor Opportunity Hop In Now" in their better networker signature
8 ) Complain about their upline to the two people in their downline and wonder why they give up.  
9 ) Ask why they aren't getting spillover and filling the forced matrix ??????
10 ) Last although not least don't chase leads because leads call them.

 

It actually is that black and white.  If you are looking for a helping hand or whatever I would counsel you go and buy Magnetic Sponsoring from Mike Dillard.  I'd also say get Network Marketing 2.0 from Ola and Shola Abitogun.  It is the only book out there now that holds a candle to Magnetic Sponsoring , in my opinion, and goes into a rather more detailed detail of how it relates to todays small business arena and I rarely recommend lots of things but i mean they used to charge $97 for it and now its 7$.  I counsel you take them up on the offer.  Its a no-brainer.  

Regardless of what you decide to do do it smart or you will be in Chapter 11.
