If you are in the network marketing business you have seen or heard your share of rudeness. At times it seems that everybody hates everybody but how do you react when someone is rude to you?
Haveing a business where you are working with the public such as network marketing it is very important to learn to control your emotions and not let your emotions control you!
I have always tried to teach my children if you go to someone with a attitude all you will get back is a attitude. If you disagree with someone and both of you are yelling at each other neither one of you is listening to the other you're just trying to yell the loudest.
It takes two people to have a conversation. One to talk and one to listen! I have a friend, he is a great guy and a good friend but he is the type that will argue with a fence post. He once came over to my house and ask me to show him how to do something. I explained it to him and show him how to make it work. Well, true to form he wanted to argue with me and tell me that he didn't think it would work. What I wanted to say to him was, You dummy I just showed you that it does work why do you want to argue about it!
Instead of allowing myself to become angry with him I simply said what about what I just showed you do you think will not work? By saying it this way I took the argument away from him. I forced him to explain his thoughts instead of arguing back and forth about who was right.
It's not always easy to be kind but it will always pay off for you if you are. I have been on the phone talking to people about my business and the person I'm talking to is being rude or obnoxious. I have two choices, I can be rude or just as obnoxious back to them or I can be smarter than what they think they are being. Most people that's being rude is expecting you to be rude back. By being nice and calm and talking to them with logic and reason will throw them off tract. Next time someone is being rude to you kill them with kindness. Who knows you just might change their attitude towards you!

No one wins when you argue or you put yourself on their level. You have taught your children well. I know for you...being on the road , the type of people you run across and so many that you would rather just run over....lol, however, it does feel much better when you can actually have that person stop to think and when they realize what they are doing it makes a bigger impact on them than anything else ever could.
