Is A Natural Ability To Be An A Grade Student An Asset Or Liability To Your Success?

First and foremost most people in this industry understand that self development is a life long study for anybody wanting to become more successful in life. However there could be a hidden liability within you that you need to be aware of that could be holding you back from becoming a top earner.

I always remember receiving high grades at school and having an artistic flair which made presentation of reports and projects very good. I had a natural ability to achieve better than average results without having to exert myself too much.

I alway remember a small group of students who sat at the back of the class, chatted throughout the entire lesson, handed in projects late or not at all and struggled to ever get in the top fifty percent of the class.

When the end of term exams came round, my work was marked as always A/B grades every time and to my utter bewilderment at the time one of the group from the back of the classroom got straight A grades with distinction.

How could this be?

Well I was reminded of this recently when I stumbled across an ebook that challenges the same scenario in a different way when it comes to marketing.

The ebook referred to Forrest Gump and the approach he took to everything he did and it is a characteristic of success, being able to be single minded in your focus to that task in hand until you become proficient in it.

Now for the mindset that comes from having to strive to grind out a result this task is far more straight forward than for the more creative types. For some reason that only you can identify in yourself you often find that you tend to get pre-occupied with creating new webpages and logos rather than placing more adverts.

Whilst one task is appeals more to your creative juices and therefore releases feelings of pride and accomplishment the other tasks should be your primary focus as they are the income building activities that will drive your business forward.

So thanks to Forrest Gump an awakening has surfaced and once you can see yourself attaching the same feelings of pride and accomplishment to placing more adverts and creating new marketing campaigns every day then you will be well on your way to a big breakthrough in your business.
