You can take either one of those words and put next to any network marketing or direct marketing company and I guarantee it will be a highly sought after topic. Go to google keyword search tool take any network marketing company and put review and scam beside it and it will have one of the highest search results. Do the same thing for any top network marketer or direct marketer and it will be pretty much the same thing. Human tendency is to be extra careful and cautious and most people do their research before they get involved with something or someone and rightly so. I tell network marketers that I talk with to always do their research on any network marketing company they want to get involved with and don’t just get involved with what I call flavor of the month companies because you see a lot of people doing it.

But here lies the problem I see many times. I see people so busy trying to find out what is wrong with this or that industry, this or that company, this or that individual that they never find time to produce success for themselves. They are so busy patting excuses on the back that they never have the chance to grab hold of success. There are many good network marketing and direct marketing companies out there and there are some bad ones. That will always be the case. If you are constantly looking for something negative trust me you will find it. While you are researching companies and people remember the individual that is doing the research which is you. If you are currently in network or direct marketing or thinking of becoming involved make sure you are first a member of you incorporated.

Constant Training and Education- It does not matter what level you are now in your home based business you should always want to take it to another level. Whether you are a veteran or newbie make sure you are always trying to stay a step ahead. There are many resources out there and many people or marketing systems offer free training. Take advantage of it.

Stay Focused and Avoid Distractions-The worst thing you can do is always looking for the next best thing. Go to your email inbox and you can find ads daily for the next big thing. Find a company or field you want to work with and learn everything you can. Do not hop on one thing to the next. Stay on your course and stay focused.

Invest Time and Money Into Your Business-I am not the one to say that you can do little and receive much. If you want to succeed you are going to have to invest time into your business whether it is part time or full time just allot time that is good for you and stick to it. Do something daily that is going to lead to positive results for your network marketing business. Even though there are ways you can generate free leads into your business I know because I use them but it is important to always use a part of your profit and invest back into your business.

Remember it does not matter what network marketing or direct marketing company you are involved in or what great product you promote the most important aspect of your home based business is YOU!
