Is it my imagination?

I have some questions and need some answers.  I'm hoping some people can enlighten me.

Okay, here it goes.

Why does it seem like most of the biz ops, traffic exchanges and advertising promos come from somewhere else rather than the United States???  It seems that everytime I turn around, something/someone is either from Canada, the UK, or New Zealand.  Is that all they have to do in these countries?

I can only speculate that it has something to do with business costs or taxes.   Does the U.S. have that many restrictions on internet maketing and its practices?  Is it easier to franchise a business in another country?

Is there nothing that is American Made right here in the good ole USA???
