Is your focus Positive or Negative?
What you focus on, makes a hugh difference in what you experience in life. Are you focusing on the positive things or negative things. Because the more negative you see and focus on, the harder it is to see the positive. The reason is quite simple, when you're focusing on one thing you won't see other things. To prove this let's do a little experiment . You know like the ones we used to do in science class.
It doesn't matter where you are or what room in your house you're in right now. I want you to look around you and count all the red things you see. That is right anything that has red on it, doesn't matter how much red or even what shade of red... just if it has some red, count it. Just count... Now I want you to close your eyes and visualize those items, for 1 minute... (60 seconds... count them out 1,2,3…60… count).. come on... work with me here. Really close you eyes and concentrate on those items... all the red, and think about them for 60 seconds.
Now...
Now...
Now...
How many green things did you see? What... you were focusing on the red... well of course... because that is what you were asked to do. And if you were truly focusing on the red you wouldn't see the green. Because that is not where your focus was.
So if we are to be successful in our business we need to narrow our focus, focus on the positive, and only allow the positive to affect what we do and how we operate. You will not only see you business flourish, but your personal life also. I learned this simple tip from my mentor. I would hope that you have a mentor in your life and business that is helping you maintain a focus on what is important. If not you should, join me on face book or visit my blog and let's talk about it.

The Importance of Focus
Focus for me is a daily choice. And sometimes, many moments during the day. Thanks, Les for this important principle for achieving success.
Fabulous little experiment.
Science experiments were never my thing, but I get the point you are trying to make very clearly! :) Sometimes the "other" colors slam us during our day and that's when we get up and refocus on the right "color" again. Creative way of getting your message across! You have a wise mentor! :)
That was Fun
I loved that Les. Although it was difficult to concentrate on the Red, since I didn't have much,I was thinking the whole time that the Red I had could be discarded.Negativity should be as easily discarded as that also. Thanks again Les
Focus Is for Genius's
If you keep looking for the Good You will be able to see it! I loved the experiment too. You really proved how True it is.
We need to know our focus so we see where we're going
Good Point Les! I really enjoyed reading this article. Our focus is so important and we HAVE to know what we're focusing on and know where it will lead us.
Focus and create Fire!
Focus and especially on the positive is what provides our motivation with momentum, our dreams with fruition! Put the blinders on, refuse any distractions, particularly the negative ones, and watch out everybody because you are on fire!
Thank you Les for a great experiment to illustrate! Loved it!

Great Example Les !
We need to focus on the positive because the negative will bring us down every time. I am now in the process of teaching my wife and children this way of thinking. I tell them if you don't have something good to say don't say nothing at all. When I here someone talking negative it is a great turn off for me now.
Thank You Your Brilliance Les,
