Knowledge of Power

Last night I was sitting in a Dale Carnegie class. My trainer started discussing the topic of knowledge and how knowledge is only power if you apply it. Well I thought to myself, “Yes! Of course pretty much everyone seems to know that.” IN fact I’ve told myself before that at times I was a broke genius, which simply means I have a ton of knowledge that was not being applied. 

We discussed in the class last night that the main reason that most people put themselves in this kind of state of having a ton of knowledge without implementation is that they don’t have a coach. 

Having a coach will allow you to not only gain the knowledge, but it will give you someone that will hold you accountable to putting that knowledge into action.

Another thing is that you can practice what you’re learning but if your doing it wrong your just developing a bad habit, which is not going to turn your knowledge into successful application.

So yesterday I wrote about money and what happens if we only focus on the money. It’s challenging to really accumulate any wealth. We may be able to create money up front with this kind of mindset, yet you’ll go broke over and over if the focus is only money.

If you begin to look at what I call the angel of knowledge, and you only focus on the knowledge aspect of things and you don’t focus on the angel of money, WEALTH will escape you.

(Look at teachers that work in schools - all knowledge but no focus on the wealth aspect)

So if you reverse this with yesterday’s lesson…
