Listening To People With Egos And Having One Is Suicide To Your Success
Imagine wanting to own your life. Who would you listen to? Would you ask someone who has a job. Of course not. They have an employee mentality and never even ran a business. Another example is fixing your car. Would you listen to someone who does not have a drivers license. Of course not. They never had spoken to a mechanic. When those people are bothering you ask them this. Have you ever owned your home based business? If they give you the answer as no. Then tell them to do not shove their ideas down your throat. If they persist tell them to STOP IT!! because that is a stronger word and it puts them into their tracks. Those people have egos and are conceited. You have to do it exactly like this or else you will not have any success in network marketing.
Also you need to let go of the agenda yourself when you speak to a prospect. Never say the words I would like to do this. That turns them right off. Saying the word I means its all about you. If the story is all about you, you are getting nowhere fast. It has to be about them. Ask them how can you help them own their lives? And listen by clearing your mind about other things that went on during the day. Do not think about your children, your boss, dinner time. Focus only on your prospect. Think about when a man meets the woman for the first time. They have a 15 minute conversation. It goes very well. After the conversation is done, the man pictures himself getting married to that one woman. That is the same impression that your prospects need to choose you over the other people whom they have spoken with. If they do not believe a thing you say they are not going to buy your vision no matter what. If there is any sort of ego, then there is no prosperity.
One needs to avoid being in the seven negative emotions because one negative emotion brings the other six negative emotions into play. When you are there go back into the seven positive emotions. Desire, Faith, Love, Sex, Enthusiasm, Romance and Hope.
The people whom you want to listen to are the ones who have built a downline and had massive success before you. There is no need to re-invent the wheel. Just like McDonalds has a system, like cooking the fries at a certain temperature in every single location. The same thing goes in network marketing. You have to follow what they have done. If you do not then you are going to lose their support.
Here is a word picture that will make you understand it better. Buying a house and renting it out to someone else. The person whom you would seek is someone who makes money doing it today and his tennant says the best things about him.
The ones whom you should sponsor in their business are the ones who are going to follow your directions and not wander off. In fact you want to ask yourself this. Is this a person whom I would want to go on a 30 day cruise or to hang out with him at Disneyworld. If the answer is no, tell that person that they are not qualified for your time.
In addition your relatives do not have to know what you do for a living either. I have a friend in his fifties whose brother is four years younger than him. His brother does not know what he does for a living. If your own sibling does not have to know, what reason do you have that you should avoid picking and choosing what to say to someone else? Think for yourself and say this. "It is not my business what other people think of me, the only thing that matters is what I think of myself."
