Making Millionaires For Fun And Profit
If someone asks me what I do for a living, I would probably say that I’m an internet marketer. Of course, a lot of other questions will follow…
“What is an internet marketer?”
“What do you actually do?”
“Do you sell things online?”
“Is it fun?”
“Is it profitable?”
We’ve all gotten those kinds of questions. And it’s probably useful to think about some answers.
Let’s start with the first two. “What is an internet marketer?” And “What do you actually do?”
Sounds pretty basic—an internet marketer markets over the internet, right? Maybe. But I think a better way to look at it is that I use the internet—leverage it actually—to generate leads. Lots of leads. (Right now, 5,000 or more a month and that’s going to go through the roof here in a couple of weeks.)
I use a system to generate leads online. That, to me at least, is internet marketing.
When it comes to what I actually do, my first response would be that I solve problems. The reality is that I do a lot more than internet marketing. I’m a trainer, a mentor and a coach. I’m a teacher in that I help people to learn new skills. But at the end of the day, I solve problems.
I will also tell you that if you are an internet marketer, you do the exact same things. You help people to solve problems. If you’re really good, you help people to change their lives. I know that I do that. I see it every day.
I think this is an important distinction. We should be thinking of ourselves not so much as marketers, but as problem solvers. Because if we do our jobs the right way, that’s exactly what we do.
And now for the two really big questions.
“Is it fun?”
And “Is it profitable.”
The answers, of course, are yes…and yes.
For me, the first one is the important one. As soon as I got out of the Marines, I knew pretty much what I wanted from life.
I didn’t want to go back to school. I wanted to work, but I didn’t necessarily want to work hard—at least not any harder than I needed to in order to succeed. What I wanted though was to work smart. Really smart. And beyond all else, I knew I wanted to succeed, in whatever it was that I did.
It worked.
So now, when I see someone with those same qualities who comes to me for advice, I work with them. To me this is the fun part of the gig. It’s what I love doing. It’s my passion.
You see, helping someone to become a millionaire is—in my book at least—what makes this business so thrilling. And that’s the mindset that has allowed me to achieve what I’ve achieved.
Which answers the second question about profitable—yes, definitely.
But I didn’t necessarily set out totally focused on making money, even though I did. What I wanted to do was to help other people.
And if you’re involved in network marketing, regardless of the company you’re with or the opportunity you’ve signed up for, you need to think the same way.
Don’t think about your million. It will come. Focus instead on helping others make their way to the top. Because it’s pretty simple. By the time they make their first million, you’ll already be way beyond that.
Our society compensates us on the value that we give back. The lesson there is easy—give back a lot. In fact, the more you give back, the more you will get.
Yes, making millionaires is fun. It’s also profitable.
Very profitable.

I think that working at home
I think that working at home can be a little frustrating. After several days of work I can't wait for the weekend. I put all my family members in our Winnebago Vista and we go on a trip. Traveling is definitely more fun than selling online.
