Mindset of a Successful Professional

Read More: Mindset

The mindset of a truly successful professional is a big mystery to many folks just starting out in the network marketing or MLM industry. Most people think that the top leaders were born with something special that made them different, but the truth is that those same principles can be effectively applied in your life to get the same results. Even if you have not currently mastered, these 8 areas of mindset can be cultivated and developed.
1.    Smile/Be Positive – “Inviting-Mindset”
First Impressions mean a whole lot, and studies show that smiling can have an incredible difference on both the one smiling and the other party. Some studies show that up to 60% of communication face-to-face is done through body language (so the point is, you can have the best “line” in the world, with a deadbeat posture and unenthused voice, your dead in the water, while on the other hand, it doesn’t matter that you don’t have any pre-scripted line if you are confident, and passionate about it…SMILE!!!)
2.    Focus on Helping Other People – “Zig Ziglar puts it best”
This is a people business and having a genuine interesting in helping others get what they want will be the fastest way to success yourself. Many people “wonder why they can’t find anyone to help make them money by asking everyone” While the people that understand this principal have more than enough people without having to ask.”
3.    Be Confident/Leader in Yourself – “Be a Thermostat, not a thermometer”
A leader understands and respects that not all people get the big picture, and the response they get has nothing to do with them personally. Set your goal and destination and finish it. Don’t change your beliefs and ideals because of external circumstances.
4.    Be Confident/Excited about your Product – “Breakthrough Second-To-None”
Most companies out do not even have a quality product and the few that do tend to be overpriced. Take pride in  our industry, sharing an incredible product that the world has never seen before. This all-natural system approach is not another “me-too” product, it’s a clinically tested, synergistically designed 3 part system to optimize and energize your body to help your body weather the storm of life, not to mention our phenomenal new products.
5.    Be Confident/Committed to your Company – “Perfect Storm of Opportunity”
Integrity Attracts Success; You will hear many great opportunities but there are few that are historically and industry-proven to have extraordinary success. Invest the time to learn why this is the best opportunity to take advantage of this huge economic phenomenon.
6.    Be Confident/Proud of this Industry – “Best Opportunity of Capitalism”
A True Champion in this industry takes action immediately going for SilverPro, then takes consistent action daily to a massive organization. Because of the economic situation and the opportunities that it brings, this industry is quickly becoming recognized as the best opportunity in the history of capitalism. In the words of Mark Yarnell, “My Pride would not allow me to be anything other than a network marketer.”
7.    Make sure to remember your WHY, it must be bigger than anyone else opinion!
If a challenge comes up, you must remember your WHY (quality time with family, donate to charities, help family & friends, quitting my job, children’s future, dream house, dream car, dream vacation, dream lifestyle) that way quitting will not be an option.
8.   K.I.S.S.
'Keep it Super Simple', or 'Keep It Simple, Stupid.' You will hear this repeated over and over again, but it is one of the most important ingredients to building a massive team. You need a simple repeatable process that can duplicate on its own. A team dependent on systems will continue to grow, a team dependent on a person will inevitably fail in the long run.

I promise you that even the most 'challenged' people can become a great leader through the proper dedication and effort. The most passionless, ignorant, and downright rotten person can and will change given the right circumstances. I think too many of us in the industry forget the real power and gift of networking. I am not advising you to seek those people to partner with in your business, you should seek to recruit up whenever possible, however I also do not agree with leaders that expect their mentors to be patient with them, and then are not patient in developing their own new partners. This industry is actually a personal development vehicle disguised as an products company.

“I can promise you the challenges you meet on the road to success are far less difficult to deal with than the struggles and disappointments that come from being average” – Jim Rohn
