Protecting your Mind against the Poison of your Environment

What a day at the office. Employee gets fired. Customer gets kicked out of office. Office manager gets told she’s being sh***y on the phone. Wow, no wonder I went looking for something else to do. Something where I can be in control of my own destiny.

After work, I went to the chiropractor and he asked me how my day was. I said “you want honesty or do you want me to lie?” He laughed and said “honesty of course”.  I proceeded to tell him the events of the day and said “oh, I’m a bit stressed, but you do what you gotta do and then you go on”, laughing the whole time I’m telling him this. He told me I give him inspiration. Well, that was a nice comment to the end of a rather unusual day.

But you see, my focus was not on the employee getting fired, the customer getting kicked out of the office or the rude customer telling me I was sh***y on the phone, which I was not. He was just mad because his vehicle was impounded. Play with fire, you get burnt. Anyway, my focus was on the appointment I had when I got home. This was an appointment that was going to bring me one step closer to becoming my own boss. This was an appointment with my mentor, Ferny Ceballos.

You see, Ferny is teaching me the in’s and out’s of SEO 2.0. This is going to change my life and the lives of several others I haven’t even met yet. No matter whether I had a crappy day at work or not, the future is so bright, I gotta wear shades. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I just hope if you had a bad day at the office, you also have something to look forward to when you go home that will bring you one step closer to being your own boss. A day when you will be free to think on your own and create your own lifestyle that you have always dreamed about.
