Realizing Why Your Marketing Results Won't Change Without You First Changing

Remove the Old You and Put On the New You

As I was listening to a message from one of my mentors, (yes I have several and you should too), several thoughts crossed my head of the average time it takes to become successful in network marketing.

I said to myself, “How can someone that has been programmed to live a certain way, think a certain way, and feel a certain way about their lives expect to change all of that in a short period of time?”

Think about it.

For as far back as you can remember, you’ve been thinking the same way. The way you react to a problem or situation has been the same for as long as you’ve had recognition of what’s going on around you.

Let’s face it, we all can overact about a specific issue that in all reality, can be solved very easily.

But what about taking on a challenge?

How would you respond to not getting the results you want?

Would you kick, scream, and blame everyone and their mother for your results?

I sure hope not!

Let’s go over one of the most common questions people especially have when taking on a new challenge, one that could possibly be life-changing.

Why Successful Results Take So Long

One of the most common question I hear, especially from those that have chosen to start a new career in the network marketing industry, is “Why does it take so long to see any worth-while results from what I’m doing in my home business?”

Now, I can answer that several ways, but let’s begin with the obvious.

1. Reaching ANY Goal Requires Hard Work And A Consistent Focus – We all at one time or another sike ourselves out by saying “I did enough work that I should be getting closer to the results I want.” (I’ll admit, I’ve been guilty of that) But in all actuality, the little voice in the back of your head is saying “You know, maybe I could’ve done just a little more, or even put better effort into the content I’ve created for marketing my home business.” When you come to realize that the fault is actually within you and you have come to an agreement with yourself to not blame but to hold yourself accountable, THEN you will begin to see the results you were aiming for.
2. Understand That With Every Gain Comes Some Kind of a Loss- This is actually a “Good Thing.” As you go on your ventures with your business, there’s no choice but for you to become further educated in what you are doing. Soon, you will realize that your average way of thinking is slowly disappearing and a NEW YOU is emerging. So, is it such a bad thing to lose something to gain another of greater value? … I thought not!
3. Your Challenges and Problems Won’t Disappear Overnight – Here’s something that I have personally battled with as I worked my ASS off to reach my goals. As you well know, time is very valuable. Especially when you are so Laser-Focused on reaching that goal you have pictured in your mind. What we tend to forget is that it took us this many years to be who we are and it’s going to take time to become who we really want to be. All of your personal challenges, your problems, and your daily mental battles with yourself are ALL part of this road you’ve decided to take. Just remember, everything will show its true face in due time.

A Word from the Not-So-Wise

Guys (and Gals), I really appreciate each and every one of you that have been following in my content.

Believe me, I am truly grateful.

But I have a confession to make. I am not wise.

I am a student of life!

In fact, I am just an average person that has taken on an above average challenge head on.

I know many of you are on the same road with me and I truly understand your struggles and battles on your way to success.

For those of you that are still undecided on whether your goal is actually worth going after, let me share this tip with you. You are worth every effort, struggle, accomplishment, downfall, and achievement you will go through to get what you want out of life.
