The REST of YOUR LIFE

So, what about the rest of your life? 
 
 
Well, there's a lot that could be said
about that, isn't there?
 
 
I guess the big question is...
 
 
What do you want it to look like? 
 
 
How do you want to spend the
rest of your days? 
 
 
What do you really want to be doing? 
 
 
Take a minute and think about it. 
 
 
Because I remember years ago, when
I was doing some serious soul searching. 
 
 
I was working 12 - 15 hour days at
the gym I trained at. 
 
 
Waking up at 4:30 to start training
my clients at 6 am. 
 
 
Staying late until sometimes 10:00 
or 11:00 at night by the time I was
done working and then working out
myself. 
 
 
Even slept in the gym a couple times,
because by the time I got home, I'd
only have a few hours to sleep before
commuting back in the morning for
my first client. 
 
I loved my job. 
 
 
But I HATED my life. 
 
 
Yes, I was blessed to have a job
and be able to earn a living. 
 
 
But my life was NOT what I wanted
it to be. 
 
 
I can hardly remember a day that I 
didn't daydream about what I really
wanted. 
 
 
And that was...
 
 
to be free. 
 
 
Personally, professionally & financially. 
 
 
In that order. 
 
 
I didn't even care about the $ really. 
 
 
It was about owning my life. 
 
 
Being my own boss. 
 
 
Doing what I wanted, when I wanted
with whom I wanted...
 
 
And not being tethered to the gym
in order to pay my bills. 
 
 
Heck, I barely did pay my bills. 
 
 
Certainly not on time at least. 
 
 
Behind in every way. 
 
 
Utilities, rent, car payment, insurance. 
 
 
 
Man, those were the days! 
 
 
 
But here's the rub Al. 
 
 
Until I did something drastically different
with myself, my life constantly seemed
to stay the same. 
 
 
It took a RADICAL move on my part
to start a completely new & different life. 
 
So, after being sent home from work one
day, (for not having a clean shaven face), 
the next day, I quit my job. 
 
 
And I swore that I'd never ever, ever, 
make it a habit of working for someone
else again. 
 
 
I didn't care about the $. 
 
 
I cared about being free. 
 
 
And I cared about truly being able to
help people live the life of their dreams. 
 
 
The moment I did this. 
 
 
I set myself free, professionally. 
 
 
No more j.o.b. 
 
 
Now I had to figure out how to support
myself. 
 
 
So, I sold whatever I had in my little
400 square foot apartment in Balitmore
Maryland where I went to school & 
worked... 
 
And moved to California. 
 
 
I got another job personal training at the
gym just to get my feet on the ground, but
believe you me...
 
 
I was planning my worldwide takeover! 
 
 
I started a small private label supplement business
just to keep from having to work or get a job. 
 
 
I even tried a few of those, again, but nothing
was gonna give me the freedom that I was looking
for.   
 
 
And surely enough, I was re-introduced to Network 
Marketing. 
 
 
And you know what...
 
 
It was THIS Industry that gave me my life back. 
 
 
Sure, I sucked for years. 
 
 
Floundered around like a fish out of water
while I figured it all out. 
 
 
But in the end, when I look back at my 21 years
experience, what I can tell you is this. 
 
 
If you really want the life you've always dreamed
of...
 
 
Do it NOW. 
 
 
Do not wait for the perfect moment. 
 
 
It will never come. 
 
 
There is no perfect moment to be 'ready'. 
 
 
Do something completely radical and different
today. 
 
 
Take a leap of faith. 
 
 
Be unconventional. 
 
 
Step outside the box. 
 
 
Do that thing you've been thinking about
for years. 
 
 
Because in the end, here's what you want
to know about living the rest of your life...
 
 
If you do nothing, nothing will change. 
 
 
Read that again. 
 
 
If you do NOTHING... nothing will change. 
 
 
Do something different. 
 
 
And do it NOW. 
 
 
The rest of your life is waiting. 
 
 
Your future starts today. 
 
 
So as I end my tirade of thoughts...
 
 
I quote the late great Jim Rohn. 
 
 
He said, 'Do whatever you have to do, 
as quickly as you can - so that you can
do whatever you WANT to do, for as
long as you can." 
 
 
That's the ticket my friend. 
 
 
Play big or don't play at all. 
 
 
Because small dreams have no magic. 
 
 
You can now go register for Day in the Office. 
 
 
August 10th at my house. 
 
 
It's going to be BIG! 
And you deserve to be there.
