THE SECRET to Making BIG Changes and Growth in Your Business

To make progress in business and life I want to share with you a valuable secret that drastically altered the course of my business and life once I started implementing it.

This is the secret to making big changes and progress in your life.  Perhaps you've noticed your days weaving in and out of different rhythms.  Sometimes there's a peak and sometimes there's a valley.  Either everything is smooth and you're moving forward or you're feeling stuck, stagnant, without changes or forward momentum.  I'm sure you can identify both in your life looking back.

We're either living or dying.  That's just a fact of human nature.  We're either moving towards progress and growth or slowly decaying.  When we're not moving forward and growing we feel this from clues of frustration and uneasiness.  Many are content with being stuck in one place and they feel good about that.  However, some people are much more prone to growth and change rather than decay.  Entrepreneurs thrive on change, growth, progress, new things, and new opportunities.

The real secret is to be able to have the courage and take advantage of opportunities when they show up.  The universe is constantly giving us gifts, in the form of opportunities, meeting new people, making new choices.  These come into our life every single day and we can take advantage of these opportunities. Unfortunately, some can't see the opportunities right in front o f them.  Perhaps you've noticed this when talking with prospects.

The key skill to really successful entrepreneurial career is done through the process of taking bold decisive action.

Successful entrepreneurs do not hum and haw and over analyze before making a decision.  The clues around them are so clear, they trust their intuition, and are not swayed by outside influences in order to make bold decisive decisions and taking action.

Do not sit on the fence. That's the worst thing you can do.  Those who sit on the fence are people who haven't made a bold decision and they're stuck.  This is where nothing happens.

Take an emotional inventory of how you are feeling. Ask yourself what you're feeling on a daily basis.

Are you rising up to one of those peaks where you're in flow? if you are you're probably one who has made a bold decision and you're moving forward.  If not you probably can see that you're not progressing.  Maybe you have made some steps but you can also see if you're staring at a decision unable to move and looking at it staring right back at you.

Are you stagnant?  You need to be super aware of the opportunities coming your way.
If you want to see growth in your life you have to make decisions.  You have to learn how to make them quicker and faster.

How do you know you're faced with a bold decision?  Are you bouncing back and forth between excitement and fear?  We need to recognize that our prospects are dealing with this back and forth.  They see the opportunity and feel the initial excitement then they get hit with doubt and fear.  Ahat's a natural progression and we have to help them get over their fear.

You're going to feel uncomfortable when deciding on making these bold decisions.  You have to step out of your comfort zone.  Anytime you're forced to do something new you're challenging yourself.  It's a good thing to feel excited, it means change is coming, fear exists but it's a good thing.  This could be one of the decisions that could change it all.  You have to have the courage to step into the uncomfortable zone.  we're naturally afraid of the unknown but we must realize unknown territory opens up new doors and new opportunities.

You need to be looking for new doors and opportunities.  Those only come in unknown territory.

You'll also have to face others' fears and doubts about what you doing...especially if it has to do with them.

Here's a great example of understanding others' fears.  I was talking with my mom and telling her we are thinking of moving to the land we have in Costa Rica.  She started talking about how dangerous it was down there and through the conversation I learned she was referring to the danger of living around so many bugs.  (My mom has a fear of bugs).  But she was also objecting to this because she doesn't want to be even farther from her grandchildren than she already is.  Naturally she has objections, fears and naturally she is going to share them with me, her son, because the fears are what she sees first.

People you share with are going to have their own fears on any given situation - you need to be careful who you share your opportunities and decisions with.  Understand and appreciate they're sharing their fears with you but be careful not to take on the fears of others because that's going to hold you back from creating progress and making decisions and change and growth in your business and life which ultimately could improve theirs as well.

How do you know it's the right choice?
This is what holds people back.  The further away you get from the moment you're exposed to the opportunity- the more doubt and fear is going to take over.  That's why as sales people we know we want the sale right as the person is exposed to it because the farther away we go the farther away the decision is.

We need to learn how to trust our gut.  All successful entrepreneurs trust their intuition and gut.  They might look at the facts but they know immediately at a gut level if it's right for them.

You have to know how to look at the clues.  Connect the dots of past events that lead up to a certain opportunity.  Start paying attention - everything in your life has served a purpose.  There are opportunities coming your way now.  When I came across the opportunity that led me to the success in online marketing I was able to recognize this was the right thing. I knew I had to take advantage of it.  Even though it was a financial hardship.  I knew intuitively I had to take the opportunity.

You need to learn how to make these bold decisive decisions. You need to learn to jump on opportunity.  This is a deeper gut feeling, it's a deeper knowing.  People will try to talk you out of it, you'll talk yourself out of it.

When I was just starting with online marketing, just beginning on ppc, I couldn't really afford it.  But what I learned was that I needed to learn how to make decisions from the place where I wanted to be not from the place where I was at right then.

Who do you want to be?  Where do you want to be?
You say you want this big house, you want this big life. You have this vision for yourself.  That's good.
But do the decisions you're making today - do they reflect who you want to be or do they reflect who you are right now?

I had never made more than $2500 in my life.  I wanted to be the guy making $25,000 per month.  Except I realized I was making decisions from the guy who makes $2500 per month.  You'll never get to the level where you want to be if you make decisions based on the thinking keeping your income stagnant.

If you were the person earning $20K, $30K, $50K per month would you be going to Live the Dream II? Of course you would - it wouldn't even be a choice to for you.  Are you the one struggling with finances and are you making decisions from that place?

Once I started to make decisions from the person I  wanted to be things started to progress, changes started to happen in my life and business.

You need to make big bold decisive actions if you want big bold changes in your life.
