Treat It Like A Business....Because It Is!
When you first get into this industry, there are so many darn feelings rushing through your body. Excitement. Fear. Anxiousness. Hope. Anger. Frustration. These are just a few of the many, many that you either have felt if you’re a veteran or will feel if you’re a newbie. I think more than anything though, most feel extremely overwhelmed. So much to learn in so little time it seems like. And I can tell you with certainty, how well you combat the flood of information coming at you is directly dependent on the team and system that you get plugged into.
I have seen some outstanding teams with very easy step-by-step videos, tutorials, and action plans for their new members…..but unfortunately I have also come across way too many more that just try to bring people into their network marketing business and then let them sink like a rock. They may give them “the guide” the second after they come on board, but then the newbie will never hear from their upline member again.
It really sucks because then these people become severely disgruntled at not only the person/team/organization who signed them up but also the network marketing industry as a whole. This selfish and ungrateful person doesn’t even realize the damage that they have done. They have just hurt every other ethical, moral, good practicing, and hardworking networker out there.
So what can I say to you right now….DON’T BE THAT GUY (or gal)!
Instead, treat your business…..well, like a business!
Take pride in what you do and how you do it. Be honest with people, both your prospects and fellow networkers. Meet deadlines. Don’t make excuses. Work hard. Play hard. Have fun. Be professional. Do the right thing.
Yes, all of the above mentioned items are hard things to accomplish from time to time, but they are what make a business a business. If you run a solid organization, you will be more wealthy than you could ever imagine.
Until next time….
