What Warren Buffet Taught Me About MLM Success

MLM success demands a lot from us. I think one of the biggest demands is getting to know ourselves. But more importantly learning about our emotions. If you're like a yo-yo, good luck with network marketing...

I've talked a little about balance before, but I want go a little deeper because it is vital to your MLM success.

I'm going to talk about two things in relation to MLM success:

1. My little/big brother
2. Warren buffet

I'm 8 years older than my little brother (of course he's taller than me now isn't he...). I got to see him grow up and go through those erratic teenage years. Those years when hormones are running rampant. Where you can be happy and sad in the same minute. The extremes, the yo-yos were insane!

This is unfortunately something a lot of people never grow out of.

A Lot of People Never Take Control of Themselves and Their Emotions and This Affects Our MLM Success Potential.

I'm glad to say that he is now 20 and in CONTROL. There are still some spikes, but his maturity has gone up 100 fold and I know he has found something he loves and is working towards.

I noticed that once he started to get his emotions in check, he was also able to figure out and fine tune what he wanted to do with his life.

The more we let our emotions distract us and lead us off course, the more likely we are to NEVER become an MLM success.

A few years ago I heard a lot about a man called Warren Buffet. He is of course one of the richest men in the world and a master investor. He has a quote I found extremely interesting in relation to MLM success:

"Until You are Able to Control Your Emotions, Don't Expect to be Able to Manage Money"

Light bulbs went off in my head. Ding, Ding, Ding... Suddenly everything made sense!!

"Let's use this in relation to MLM success and success in general" – it explains SO much!

So many people have no control, I mean don't TAKE control of their emotions. They are stuck on their very own "emotional rollercoaster". There is no time to think about the future when your mind is clouded by emotions.

• Why aren't more people wealthy?
• Why don't 95% of the population know how to handle money?
• Why don't more people find MLM success?

They DON'T take control of THEIR emotions.

Money itself can be very emotional. How is your heart rate right now? Mine just spiked as I write this, so I know there are still some internal blocks there. The best of intentions are misled by emotions and our MLM success flies away on our emotional rollercoaster.

• Are we objective when we're in an emotional state?
• Do we make good decisions when we're emotional?

Of course not... so how can we expect to make a plan for a brighter future, for MLM success when we're emotional all of the time? When we're stressed, from all aspects of life – kids, marriage, partners, work, kids, family, friends,kids... I know you see what I'm talking about.

Our MLM success hangs in the balance of our heart and our head.

Solid decisions are made when we are balanced. When we can see both sides of an opportunity. There is always risk and reward. Always good and bad sides and BOTH have to be managed. But before we can do that, we have to be able to manage ourselves.

MLM success will not come until we can conquer our emotions.
