What You Can Learn From Oprah: The World's Greatest Network Marketer

It’s literally 2:44a Saturday, November, 21, 2009. I’m sitting here watching the video announcement of Oprah’s decision to end her show after 25 Years. <see the video at the link on the bottom>. I’m not a regular Oprah viewer, in fact I haven’t watched an Oprah episode in forever. But  as I’m watching her announcement, I can’t help but take note of why she has become such a massive success. And it comes down to one word: Relationship.

The key to Oprah’s $2.7 billion dollar empire has been the relationship that she been able to build with her millions upon millions of viewers over the last quarter century. Oprah’s recipe for success is to entertain, inform, and uplift every single one of us.

The repetition of 3 easy steps has allowed Oprah to become the wealthiest woman the world has ever seen.

So what can you take from this as a network marketer.

If it’s your dream to experience the success of a millionaire, your shear focus should be on entertaining, informing, and uplifting your following. The more you focus on these three aspects the faster your following will grow… and ultimately your bank account.

APPLICATION:

Note: either grab a pen and paper and take notes or bookmark this site. This information should be ingrained into your very being. When you’re able to apply this technique automatically, your wallet is going to swell by leaps and bounds.

1) Entertain: The very first step is entertainment. Without attracting people’s attention you will never be able to inform them much less uplift them. Find a way to entertainingly attract people and they flock to your beck and call.

2) Inform: After you have gained people attention, now is your opportunity to open their eyes. Show them the things they have taken for granted or have been completely blind to. The truth is hard to close your eyes to.

3) Uplift: “Knowledge is Power” or put another way: “there is no knowledge that is not power.” Through education and inspiration people grow immensely. Be there for them. Help inspire that growth. When people “become more… they earn more…” and they’ll never forget those who were instrumental in their development.

Apply these 3 steps to your blog, to your social media efforts, and even to general conversation. The people you touch will sing of your praise and others will be sure to follow.
