I always figure that it should be the anthem of internet marketers too

Upbeat, full of fun and just plain inspiring!

Internet marketing is tough, don’t ever let anyone kid you otherwise, there is no miracle pill, you need to work, learn, learn some more and work some more in order to make it. That means long hours, focusing when all you really want to do is sleep, being there to support the people you are working with, without stepping over the line of trying to do everything for them and keeping tabs on your income streams and outgoings - on top of trying to have a life and keep the family happy!

It’s tough not to let yourself get distracted by all those new shiny, promising the world in 2 minutes opps that come along every day. We’re human, to a certain extent we are programmed to want the shortcut to our dreams lol - our families generally want the best, the easiest life for us, same as we want for our kids (if you have them I guess), so how can we not get caught up now and again in that trap?

Don’t beat yourself up over it but don’t let yourself wallow in it either.

Teach yourself to evaluate everything before you get in - be honest about your skills and the skills required to build an online business, this ensures that you remain aware of your necessary learning curve. Focus on acquiring the immediate knowledge and skills that you need to develop and work on them continually.

Don’t join anything that requires more money or skills than you have available to you, there are plenty of free marketing systems that you can use to help build a downline and learn the basics with before you have to fork out money, you can learn the ropes and build your team before you even settle on a company to join if you choose MLM or have your own product developed.. and in the meantime you can often be earning affiliate income by pointing your new team in the direction of products that have helped you to develop to this point.

People skills are one of the most important features of online marketing and you can practise developing those in almost any everyday situation. Don’t waste any opportunity to interact better, to become more self aware, to learn how to take responsibility for your part in a failed interaction, learn from it and move on - don’t ever dwell - remember what’s done is done, all you can do is strive to improve on yourself for the next time..
