Why does'nt my downline work??? Anti-Goals is KILLING it!

 We've all heard of different ways to set goals, what is a good goal, and what isn't, how to stay focused on your goal, and in the end - achieving your goals.. So what's stopping you??? I call it Anti-Goals.. It's that "unwilling" feeling in your gut, that stops you from doing what is necessary to reach you goal. Let me give you an example...

Let's say a child is born into a communist-home. He(or she) is brougth up to belive that we all have to share our wealth, that capitalists are the leaches of the world, sucking blood of innocent people into their own business and benefit. That MONEY is the root of ALL evil!!!

Let's say that this child grows up, and meets one of you guys, and turns on like no-one else! He sets his goal, thinking "I want to own and drive my own Ferrari". Ha hang up posters of his beloved Ferrari around his appartment, has it as the background on his computerscreen, has a never-ending Ferrari engine humming om the stereo on repeat. All the things he has to do in order to stay focused... And he starts of like a bullet!!!! But in the back of his head, the "tape from his childhood" is running on repeat.. "Money is the root of all evil..". "I'm a capitalist-bastard.."  What happens when this guy is starting to make money??? Suddenly the "map" of his reality, the one he has created in his head, is different from the landscape he is in.. Because of the "Anti-Goals", he will change the landscape instead of changing the map. Because he isn't aware that he has one!!! He can't change what he isn't aware he has, and that's why he fails..

I've worked in sales for many years, and seen it happen many times... New employees, never worked with sales before.. And they start off like the best closers in the company.. They are the ones that everyone congratulates when the sales-department has a meeting.. And suddenly they stop producing, and within a few months they are fired.. WHY??? Anti-Goals... Thay have always been short on cash, and suddenly they make a lot of it... This landscape does'nt add up with the map in their heads, so they change the landscape... They (and we all) are frigthened of the ligth.. We are used to darkness, and it is safe for us, we can hide.. We don't know how to be "a winner", because no-one has ever told us HOW!!

If you've thougth about putting out your sigarettes for good, you may have read Allen Carr's "The easy-way to stop smoking". He does'nt call it Anti-Goals, but the book is full of them.. It is the best example I can come with at this time.. He takes all your mindsets and pre-judgements about "how difficult it is to stop smoking", exposes them to dayligth, and we all se them disappear in front of our eyes... And we find that it is pretty easy to quit smoking!!(I'm not kidding!!!) The difficult thing about Anti-Goals is recognizing them.. When they are first spottet, all they need is to be exposed to ligth(or common sense, if you like), and they will disappear. If someone told you, in your childhood, that "you are a fat and ugly child!!", it could very well be stopping you from becoming Miss Universe, even though you now are the most beatyful woman in the world... Why?? Anti-goals!!!! If you are used to failing in all things you "give a shot", it may well be that you will fail again.. Not because you are a failure or because the system is bad, but because you think you are a failure.. So instead of doing your best, you don't even try!!!

Beware of this, because it IS killing your downline. And WE ALL HAVE THEM, in one way or the other... And that is the reason why only 1-5% make it in this business.. I teach my team how to spot and kill these Anti-Goals, and they ALL produce!! Some more than others, but they all make money!!!

So when someone tells you that he/she can't, because "that's just the way I am", it is ALWAYS an anti-goal... Find it, and cure it with your common sense!!

I had 2 HUGE anti-goals... "It is challenging to motivate myself, and work on my own!" and "I have never managed to build a carreer without someone pushing me!" Of course it is challenging to motivate yourself when you have a bundle of Anti-goals telling you that you wo'nt fix this... And I have never managed to build a carreer on my own before, because I did'nt have the rigth leaders!!! When these anti-goals/mind-sets are exposed to the ligth/common sense, they dissappear like morning-dew in the sun...
