Why Resolutions Don't Work & Why Avoid Making Them....

Every year we set a goal to lose weight, increase business, become better at something or give more time to a project and every year the same result happens.We never get it done! So what do we do? The same thing as last year.....

We all start with good intentions on keeping the resolution that we set but as time ticks on we seem to fade from the focused mentality that we used to have. These are the dreaded Resolutions of The New Year and before we know it we are making them again the day after Thanksgiving.

The reasons resolutions don't work for weightloss, business growth or any other project is simple. Commitment! There is no commitment when you say you are going to do something. There is only talk. Commitment starts with action and but even before there is action there is a strategic plan of attack that is laid out to follow. 

The battle field is scattered with mines and you have systematically found them and disposed of all things that will stop you from reaching your conquered land. You then and only then should say "CHARGE"!

So, in case you haven't realized it yet your goal, or "resolution" to lose weight, make more money, etc. hasn't come to reality yet and won't because you had or have no plan of action. You decided you wanted something, you even said out loud that you were going to do it. But, were are the notes on how to accomplish it located, or the mentor, or personal trainer, or this or that..... All these things that were needed to be successful where never included in the "I'm going to lose 50lbs. this year"
