Why You Need A MLM Business Plan

They say that 97% of all kind of businesses fail within 5 years...

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

In this particular Industry, a mlm business plan is a strategic blueprint of what you want to accomplish, how you’re going to do it…AND why you want this. (Especially why others should give a crap)

While the lack of experience and discipline might be against any new mlm’er, I personally believe that must people fail because they don’t know what they want. (therefore there’s no how and no why)

The truth is that you can get lost easily in this kind of business. As I’ve said before in this blog, you must commit to the journey and focus on the 3 most important tasks to make your business profitable:

1. Self Education
2. Generating Leads
3. Closing Sales

Without any of these elements, your business will sadly join the statistics and you’ll end up spending more money that you’ll ever make.

Now, a MLM business plan must be a realistic yet uncomfortable blueprint on the things you want to accomplish and what strategies you’re gonna use go get there while letting others know why you want it.

Let’s elaborate a little bit more on this..

1. The What: It doesn’t matter if you just want to make a few bucks or become a millionaire…You must first be aware of what you really want and put a date to have it.  I do think that 97% of mlm’ers don’t’ have a clue of what they want. And those who have a blurry image in their mind about it don’t have a date set up for their goal. Big mistake.

2. The How: Strategies come and go but the truth is that you must educate yourself first and then decide which marketing and sales strategies you’ll use to make your business profitable. It’s critical that once you have the vehicle (the business opportunity) to get where you want to be, you focus on the strategies you’ll use to ride it properly.

3. The Why: Here’s the most under-valued element of all…The reason, the purpose. While your WHY might include physical things for you and your family, in this kind of industry success comes from helping others accomplish their dreams…You’ll get paid in the process. It’s super important to discover your purpose, your mission in life and use it in your marketing.

As you can see a MLM business plan is not only writing down your goals and waiting for the law of attraction to take place.

It’s actually a realistic (but uncomfortable) blueprint of your business.  Every goal should be framed using the what, the how and the why elements with a specific date to be accomplished so that you have a sense of urgency to get there.

It’s very simple once you have a relaxed mind and you’re ready to separate yourself from the herd.
