"You Inc"-The New Fortune 500 Business Model

 There is a new breed of company rising out up of the ashes of an injured US economy.

 This new breed of company is called "You Inc".

 "You Inc" is the buzz word that represents anyone who decides to start their own business and                  market "themselves" as a business and a product.

 Year after year, thousand and thousands of people were already kissing traditional employment goodbye and going    into business for themselves.

 These days, spurred on by a wounded economy and a rising unemployment rate, more and more people are finding  their "inner entrepreneur" and making a go of it.

Might I also suggest that there has never been a better time than now for a person to launch out on their own and pursue the dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.

Thanks to the power of the internet, more and more "You Inc" millionaires are being created everyday and the lure that corporate America used to have is becoming less of an attraction.

Now I must admit, the six years that I spent in corporate America started of fun but they quickly ended in misery.

I was hired on at a traditional Fortune 500 company making $17.00 per hour...... Of course I was happy, the most money I had ever made before that was $9.50 working for a cable company.

Like I said, everything started off good.

Then the realities of corporate America hit. 

As years passed, management became uncooperative, overtime became the norm and job security was like trying to figure out which hand the coin was in.

I felt like my supervisors didn't respect me or care for the needs of my family or myself.

I never had time for my family. I woke up frustrated everyday because I felt like I was forced to go into a job I didn't like.

(I later found out that this "forced feeling" came from the ignorance of not knowing that I did have other options)

I was caught up in the rat race and there always seemed to be more month than money no matter how many hours I worked.

I knew something would have to give and it would either be me or the job.

It ended up being me.

I finally realized that the only way that I was ever going to have a chance to live life on "my own terms", would mean that I would have to leave corporate America.

So I did, and struck out my personal journey to build my own"You Inc" company.

And that is exactly what it is, a personal journey.

No I won't lie, the journey was not easy. There were quite a few ups and downs and it seemed like there were more downs than ups, but as I began to meet more and more people who had the same dreams that I had, I began to see a common theme.

"You are going to struggle in the beginning, but if you persist and push through, you will succeed. Success with your own business is possible, you just have to WANT it."

And that is the mindset that YOU will have to have if you want to have your own "You Inc" company.

Be persistent and you will succeed.

I believe that there is a day coming when it will be common to see a person's name at the top of the Fortune 500 list instead of a traditional company.
