Your Upper Limit

Have you ever wondered why you haven't achieved the success you've dreamt of in your network marketing business, even though you have bought the 'how to' books, listened to the success & leadership audio's and attended the seminars?

Could it be that your internal "thermostat" is set to a level that is preventing you from achieving success?

I was first introduced to the concept of an internal thermostat after attending T Harv Eker's Millionaire Mind event. Your internal thermostat can cover all areas of your life, not just your network marketing business. Just like a thermostat that controls your heating system the one that you have internally governs your experiences in daily life.

 According to wikipedia - thermostat is a component of a control system which senses the temperature of a system so that the system's temperature is maintained near a desired setpoint, The thermostat does this by switching heating or cooling devices on or off, or regulating the flow of a heat transfer fluid as needed, to maintain the correct temperature. The name is derived from the Greek words thermos "hot" and statos " a standing".

So for example, you've decided to take your business to the next level and you're currently generating a part time income of $1000 per month. You want to step it up to $2000 per month and you are putting in the work to 'make it happen'...guess what?

It happens!

You hit $2000 per month...yippeee!

Then something strange happens...

You start to doubt yourself, perhaps it was just a fluke...Who are you to think that you can generate more than $1000 per month... You have no business experience...Just be satisfied with $1000 per month... it's more than most network marketing make anyway.

Can you relate?

You've stepped outside of your comfort zone and entered new territory.

On a subconscious level you do not believe you deserve to make more money and your thermostat draws you back to its setting of $1000 per month. Although on a conscious level you want more, you haven't developed the mindset (yet) to receive more money.

I experienced this myself when I started marketing online using a marketing system that produced AMAZING results. I followed the strategies took massive action and got massive results and then all of a sudden I got scared!

I was in new territory and I didn't know what to do, so instead of continuing and pushing through to the next level, I retreated and went back to my comfort zone because that was the level my thermostat was set.

GOOD NEWS 

Once you become aware of your pattern you can reset your thermostat and increase the level.

It will take effort, just don't give up.

Continue to invest in self education, expand your mind and believe in yourself.
