Network and Internet Entrepreneurs: The Psychologically Unemployable
Read More: Well gang, I'm back...And I've had this thing rollin' around in my head all day. I mean from the time I woke up this morning, there it was. It's like I had some weird dream I don't remember and yet I can't shake these thoughts, so here we go...
I'm gonna try to make this quick cause I know ya' all have so much to do. The problem is, I'm so new to all this, I only know one way to do it. It's kinda like the trigger on my skill saw, On-Off.
When I made up my mind to get into this wild and wacky world of Network and Internet Marketing, I did so with very little knowledge of either. I was at a place where there just weren't a whole lot of options.
I was psychologically unemployable.
When I woke up earlier this year and finally realized the work really was gone, and I looked around to figure out what I was going to do, I was Lost. I didn't have a clue. I piddled around with some handy-man stuff, got back into some areas of the business that I'd been subbing out for years and just tried to make ends meet. When it didn't pay enough to cover the general liability insurance, much less pay the dog food bill and truck payment, I realized that was it.
I was done. Out of Business. NO More! Now what?
There was no way, after running my own business and working for myself for so long, that I could go to work for someone else. Heck, I was fired or quit every job I'd ever had prior to hiring myself...And I did that cause I knew I'd make my own best employee. Early on, I realized the only way to really make money in life is to have leverage. You know, the ability to set your own prices, control of your time and make money off others efforts...I bib my jobs, scheduled the labor and hired guys as needed to complete tasks. "LEVERAGE".
I was presented with Long Term, Leveraged, Residual Income.
Oddly enough guys, it was about this same time, I was presented with this product that was tied to this company that would pay me for sharing this stuff with others...I had heard of these things and even been involved with one, back in the mid-eighties...A big National company. I made more installing the product than I ever made selling it.
I told the person that shared this stuff with me that because I respected them that I'd try it. I'd see for myself if it actually did what they claimed. (Inside I was convinced I was wasting my time and their money, since they let me have the stuff to try).
Now, my wife and I got to looking at the compensation plan and it made a whole lot of sense, I could get paid a small percentage of all the volume that was being moved below me, by all the people I got involved. You know, Long term, leveraged, residual income. I proceeded to take a serious look at the stuff. I began using it as directed.
I noticed it almost immediately and thought it was a fluke, and a few weeks later, I remember coming home and telling my wife, "this stuff really works!" She said, "yeah, but we don't know anyone...just who do you think you're gonna sell it to?" She was right, what few friends we had were out of work and broke, my family members got us involved, and for reasons I won't go into right now, none of the neighbors were even an option...
The only way we'll get involved is if I can sell this stuff on that computer.
Just by fluke, or maybe, by 'Divine intervention', I had also, about this same time, been given an old, worn out, first generation Dell lap top computer. You see my 74 year old Dad was about to throw this thing out, and realizing that his only son, when it came to the technology, had somehow missed the boat...I'd always just got up went to work and never really cared to keep up with the times (Yeah, I know, CRAZY, never even googled myself or sent an email prior to April 10, 2009).
Anyway, my Dad said, "son, I don't know what you're gonna do with your life, but you'd sure better figure out how to use one'a these or you'll end up under that bridge!"
That was it! The computer! I'd heard about people "making money for nothin' online"...I knew the future was behind that little glowing screen and I was gonna figure it out. I told my wife, "screw those games the kids are playin online, I don't need any of that daily cross word puzzle or the solitaire, I'm gonna figure out how to sell that stuff online, I'm gonna get that thing to make us some money, and I'm gonna change our lives."
I made a commitment and I take MASSIVE Action.
Ever since I was a kid, when I decide I'll do somethin' then that's it, I do it... Well, this is no different. I made up my mind, and I dove right in. I mean, I dove in head first without checking for stumps, submerged boulders, or even to see how deep the dang water was...
I MADE A COMMITMENT and I continue to TAKE MASSIVE Action.
I found the very best training available..the very best support system I could find...
I've surrounded myself with others who also believe that this is the way of the future...
I've tuned out, ignored and even 86's those naysayers out of my life that have tried to hold me back...
I continued to do what those that have gone before me with success have told me to do...
I'm working harder, longer, with more passion, purpose and persistence than at any other time in my life...
I've struggled tirelessly to understand things I didn't even know existed 5 months ago, and I continually press forward even if I still don't understand...
I have a burning desire to change my life and help others along the way do the same...
I believe with all of my soul that I can do this and you know what? I CAN and I HAVE...
Network and Internet Marketing: Our future is brighter than ever.

Ever since I started into this wild and wacky world of Network and Internet Marketing I've noticed one thing. One common thread, one outstanding theme.
It seems everyone here knows something that the rest of the World doesn't...And it seems we all want others to know it too, even though most seem to shun us. Everyone here is happy to share with others and to teach guys like me who've just jumped in and started kickin and flaylin all about tryin to learn how to swim...
Network and Internet Marketing is the only industry in the World that anyone from any background with and level of education or experience can jump right into and in a matter of time completely change their future. It is the only industry in the World that will allow just regular and normal people a chance to climb the ladder of success to levels only dreams are made of. Everyone here knows that with Network and Internet Marketing all our futures are brighter than ever...

Trump Doesn't Get a Raise Working Extra Hours at Applebees
A buddy of mine was talking about how most people think about making money. If they want to make a few extra bucks, they'll get another job. All the while they have to put in their time to get paid.
Entrepreneurs spend their time building machines that churn out new income streams for them. TOTALLY different concept. And that's why there's no possible way I could work for someone else. I just felt like another "gear" inside of THEIR machine. Now I'm out making my own little money-machines.. :-)

I’ve never commented on the forum before, but felt "compelled" to contribute after agreeing with you wholeheartedly on two points.
1. Even though I am also still at the beginning in my Network and Internet Marketing journey - I could NEVER, EVER go back to the corporate world now.
Whether you prosper or struggle, isn’t it much more meaningful to live a life where you control your own destiny - rather than place it in the hands of others.
2. For a long time, I’ve thought that my parent’s generation have lived at the best time in history – growing up after World War II and experiencing the unprecedented freedom and lifestyle advances that they have seen.
But I do agree that “There's never been a better time to be alive” - as far as opportunities to be truly free and express an entrepreneurial spirit are concerned. In fact only today I wrote down, “…it is probably the best time in history to be making a living outside of the corporate world.”

Go Figure: “Ron Coase won the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1991 which addressed the dismantling of large employment, corporations, unions, et. al. which peaked between 1930 through 1980. Point being, Mr. Coase won the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1991 from a paper he wrote when he was 20 years old in 1931 with these predictions!”

All home based businesses are inherently 'green'...Yeah, home business entrepreneurs are helping our planet!
Just by working from home you've, by default, started reducing emissions, reduced waste paper and other office waste products, cut down on water consumption, the list goes on. So weather you like it or not, You, my friend, are now environmentally conscience...How do ya like them apples?

It's all about finding your nicth and staying with it long enough to see it finally take off and fly, Getting someone else to see and believe in what you have, Sometimes it takes years for people to finally see it and get started, I know because I'm one! I'm severely unemployable. I'd usually quit and or get fired from a job at least 3 months in, which has been my track record. Guess I can't be a slave like the rest of the population.....poor them lol :p
