Network Marketing Tips: How To Get Your Spouse On The Same Page

Have you ever wondered how you can get your spouse on the same page as you in your network marketing home based business? Are you tired of the same old fights and arguements? Do you just want your spouse to support and have faith in you? If you keep reading you will discover the answers to your questions. June 2004 I quit my job and started working my network marketing business full time. The following month my wife quit too and joined me in business. During the next 5 months we worked in the trenches day and night to build our business. We prospected in the cold market together, set appointments over the phone, attended business overviews, and traveled to out of state events. By November-December we were broke, disgusted, ashamed, frustrated, afraid, and extremely disappointed. After my car got repoed and we got evicted I decided to go back to corporate America. That whole experience left a bad taste in my wife's mouth. Ever since then when I presented an opportunity to her she turned up her nose and had "the look" on her face. I knew what that was all about. Chances are your spouse feels the same way mine DID even if you haven't gone through what I have. I want to share with you how you can get your spouse on the same page with you even if she can't stand MLM/network marketing right now. There are only a few reasons why our spouses feel the way they do. They are a) ignorant of what we do, b) tired of us facing rejection, c) see no money coming in, and d) want to spend more time with us. I followed 8 simple steps that got my wife and I on the same page again when it comes to my network marketing business. You can do the same thing too! 1. Let your spouse see exactly what you do on a day to day basis. It helps them to understand what you actually go through and why it will pay off. 2. Help them to understand what your business is all about. This eliminates them being ignorant of your business 3. Invite them to be a part of your business (call leads, help with marketing, etc). This gives them a sense of provide and envolvement. 4. You be efficient and consistent working the business. That's the only way you will get results so that you can do #5. 5. Make some money. Will eliminate ALL arguements. 6. Have a date night once a week or every two weeks. Let them know you value and love them. 7. Spend quality time with your spouse. That's what they want most. 8. Don't ALWAYS work the business have balance. That's what it took to get my wife to APPRECIATE this industry again. It was an uphill battle but I am glad it worked out. There is no greater feeling than you and your spouse being on the same page in EVERYTHING.
