Overcoming the Obstacles...

Have you ever been trying to achieve something to advance your business, only to have obstacles placed in your way? I bet you have experienced this at one time or another? As people who are aiming for success in our industry and in life, we are always going to face obstacles. Sometimes, I think that its just the universe`s way of testing us, of wanting to see just what we are made of, to see if we are really serious about what it is that we want. 

I am writing this because I came across an obstacle just these past two days, and maybe, just maybe someone will get something from it. You see at home we have just one computer  at the moment, knowing that I am using this one computer to work on things that are suppose to help advance my business, my dear husband decides to take his sweet time all Friday evening until late the night and all day Saturday to play his new found Facebook game called ' Millionaire City'. Now I would not have objected if he was actually getting the millions that he made on this game.

This made me think of the things a person has to deal with on a daily basis, as we work towards achieving  the status of Alpha Networker that Mike Dillard speaks of in his book Magnetic Sponsoring. On this journey we have to deal with a lot of naysayers, who do not believe in what we do, and also do not believe that we can do achieve what we are going after.

We cannot let the little things in life such as this deter us from  moving forward. We need to do is stay positive. Network with people who are on the same path as you, share your experiences, who knows someone else may not be as mentally strong as you and may understand that others experience obstacles too.

What I`ve done and will continue to do is follow the advice from a book I`ve read that says if we want something, we are to express this want to (he said formless substance) but I know that it is God he was refering to, in fact he did say God on a few ocasions, you are to express this need or want to God by asking him first, then you need be grateful that you have received it, you are to live the way you would if you already had it. He said that you are to keep a clear specific picture of it in your mind, and know that it is on its way to you. As you hold that image of you "new" whatever it is you continue to work, doing all that you need to do and you will receive it. Therefore if what you want is success in this industry, you know what to do.

So whatever the obstacle is, just know that you can overcome it, many people are doing that ever day. I have no idea what obstacles you face on a daily basis, however what I do know is that the Lord does not give us more than we can bear, so whenever it comes, know that it is something you can overcome. You just need to find the strength inside of yourself.

Remember that these are merely tests to see how strong your will is. If you're going after a goal and things just don't seem to go your way, don't give up. It is times like these that really separates the winners and losers in life.
