Creating Magic With Your Network Marketing Business

Creating magic with a network marketing business?  I’m not here to create magic, you say.  I’m building a business to give my family the opportunity that I never had.  What does creating magic have to do with network marketing?

You’d be surprised.  I recently experienced a situation that could be perceived as a “crisis”.  But I created magic by using the skills that I’ve learned in my business to turn this challenge into an
opportunity for huge growth.  

In my commitment to create a successful home business, I’ve been studying Think and Grow Rich with a mastermind group.  I’ve discovered tools to shift my thinking to focussing on what I want to create in my life instead of dwelling on the problems that I experience. Recently, I was able to apply it to my life.

I’ve been unemployed for most of the year and consequently, I’ve been behind in paying my bills. Three weeks ago, I received a notice from my landlord that they were applying to evict me because I was in arrears in my rent.  I had to come up with about $2,500 in 3 weeks in order to stay in my apartment.

I went into shock immediately.  Years ago I had been homeless and living in a shelter for several months.  I never wanted to go back there again.  When I read the letter, I was terrified that I was
going to be homeless again.

After I calmed down slightly, I called a business associate for advice.  I completely forgot that my friend had been a private investigator so she has insight to the legal system that most people don’t have.  My friend directed me to access government resources and community legal services.

In addition to contacting these resources, I constantly focussed on my thoughts.  I applied what I was learning from my business.  I created self-talk that I recited when the doubts surfaced.  Often the doubts would surface in the middle of the night. But I told myself “Money flows to me freely and easily
in increasing amounts through multiple sources on a continual basis.”  I visualized myself paying the arrears to my landlord before the due date.

I also practiced “The Forgiveness Prayer” practice from my spiritual practice, which is a guided visualization of forgiving the person who hurt me.  In most cases, I would visualize myself forgiving myself for the mistakes I made in mismanaging my money.  I also forgave my landlord for how she handled the situation.  Each time, I forgave myself or anyone else I felt the energy released from my body.

I also chose to be thankful.  I thanked God for the apartment.  I thanked God for the friends who supported me in this process.  My friends accepted me and did not judge me for the mistakes that I made.  I thanked God for my landlord.

I also continued to take action, contacting people as I was directed.  I remember spending a day talking to numerous lawyers and community resources.  Each time I felt anxious, I just visualized myself paying my landlord the rental arrears before the date it was due.

So what is the result of my efforts and the support of good friends?  I attracted over $2,500 in 2 weeks and I paid the rental arrears a week before it was due. My landlord withdrew the application to evict me from my apartment.  I am living in my apartment and I am current with my rent.

I know that changing your thinking will definitely transform your life.  If you are experiencing a “crisis” now and you don’t know what to do, change your thinking. 

What can you be thankful for in the midst of this situation?  What do you want to create?  Focus on what you are creating.  Develop an affirmation to support you in achieving your goal.  As you take inspired action, your life will change.  You will create magic in your life!
