I think it is important to define success. Success is being successful mentally and spiritually, as well as financially.  Most people define success by the size of a person’s bank account.  Success first starts mentally.  You must feel successful on the inside before you will see any results on the outside.  This is where you really need to decide which direction you want to take in your life. It is important to study the people you want to follow or emulate. Listen and learn from people you admire. Accomplishing this step is a very important part of having true success.

 Everyone needs personal growth in this industry on a daily basis. Overcome your subconscious mind and dominate your conscious mind with positive thinking.   It is so important to feed your mind with positive thoughts constantly and persistently.  Take control of your mind by feeding and strengthening it with value.  Uncertainty makes us think of all different thoughts and believe that you won’t be able to turn yourself around. Fear is always trying to take over. Stand guard at the door of your mind; be aware of your thoughts. There is so much stimulus coming at you from the Public, like phone calls, Emails, news and TV etc… You have to take control of your mind, be aware of your thoughts and FOCUS. 

 
 “Whatever it is you focus on in life you will obtain”.  Focus on acquiring skills in your field of expertise, and once you have acquired wisdom, take it and start channeling in on what you want out of life.  Without true focus and a VISION, nothing will happen. Focus on abundance and owning your life. Feed your mind with value at least an hour a day. It is important that you focus on your talents, becoming a better person, becoming someone who affects someone else.  Ultimately focus on being positive in everything you do. If you focus on what you want, you will give it greater attention.  This attention will manifest into action, which will ultimately manifest into results.

  
Understand that there is a force greater than you controlling the universe. It is important to believe, hope and have faith.   When you are in touch with your Infinite Intelligence, Higher Power, or “spiritual side”, it will give you a certain inner peace, strength and it lets you know that you are on the right path. You will feel it within you. It is hard to explain, but there is a certain feeling you will get when you are in the flow spiritually.  You cannot thrive in this business without spirituality.

Persistence is the major key to success. Having a certain drive determines everything. It is important that you need not only to be persistent in obtaining ideas, desires, and dreams, but also be persistent with your personal growth. Persistence cannot be purchased. Discipline yourself and be persistent to the point that it becomes a part of you. Every time you fail or fall, get back up, think positive, stay focused and use your failures as a learning curve. Mistakes, failure, frustration, they all go with the business. If you are persistent, I guarantee you will accomplish what you set out to do.  A good friend and mentor said to me “If you are persistent enough, you will accomplish anything that you want in life no matter what.  No Excuses overcome the word persistence, no excuses”. 
 
 I think one of the things we tend to neglect is feeding and strengthening the body.  Taking care of your body is so important.   Make radical changes. Push yourself to do things that you want to do but don’t: like exercise. Do something every day.  When you take care of your body, your mind will change. Think about it. Your body and mind will be in balance.  When this happens you will find inner strength and you will continue.

There is nothing holding you back, but you. Take care of your mind and body, stay focused and be persistent and if you really want to be successful in whatever you do, get in touch with your spiritual side.
