Families can now work as a team together building their business from home.

There are now great Business opportunities available for Moms and Dads, whether housewives or professionals, who want to work together from home.

My children grew up in my office. Some days I worked from home and other days at my office, but either way, the children were always with me. They sat at my desk as I worked (or tried to), stapling, cutting, drawing or doing school work under my desk. It was just the way we wanted it. Some clients liked it and thought it was cute and some despised it and threatened never to return.

I must admit, some days were way more productive than others, but I loved every minute of it (or most of them anyway).

This was years ago, when it wasn’t really popular or the “In” thing to do. Now my older girls are nearly grown, but I still have a 2 year old crawling under my feet and sneaking on my computer when I’m not watching.

Still today, for me it has been the best way. There definitely has to be some structure and balance or can turn into chaos quickly, but my children have learned great skills and had the privilege to communicate with a lot of adults and to see how things are in the real world. They each learned to carry on a conversation with an adult and answer questions intelligently very early in life. They also learned how to answer the phone and take messages, operate a copier, computer, shredder and paper cutter safely and help others when needed.

My girls have helped put out flyers and posters as I needed them, take orders and package products.

It is a good way to teach them responsibility and also, it lets them know they are part of our team and play an important role in our success.

I am glad that I have had the opportunity to allow them to help and to share with each other the tasks at hand. It has given them a realistic view of what Life Is all about. I cherish  the memories I have working with my family. This freedom to be able to work from home has been very rewarding for me.
