Misers, Visionaries and Those Less Fortunate

Read More: Positive Thinking

Do you find that it is more difficult to build your network marketing business during this recession?  Or, do you see it as the best opportunity in your lifetime to create you own fortune?

It is human nature to hold on dearly to what you have when times get rough.  Motivated by a fear of loss, most people become more conservative during a recession. So, what is a recession anyway?

A recession is just a by-product of the decline in the value of our currency.  Becoming a miser during times of inflation will never make you rich because every day your money buys you less and less.  Historically, it is times like these when the most new millionaires are created.  Disney, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard are just some of the companies that were started during economic turmoil.
Perhaps you have heard this story before.  Napolean Hill was broke when he first met Andrew Carnegie.  Mr. Carnegie encouraged Hill to interview the richest men in the country so that he could begin to understand how great wealth is created.  Carnegie said, “it’s a shame that each new generation must find the way to success by trial and error, when the principles are really clear-cut.”  That moment was the birth of the classic bestseller Think and Grow Rich.

When every one else in the world can only see the doom and gloom that surrounds us, aren't we really the lucky ones?  We are all here because we share a passion. Many great thinkers and entrepreneurs consider network marketing to be the best business model ever created.  I believe that we are in the best business at the best possible time.

The days of the United States being a manufacturing giant are long gone.  As a country, the United States have been exporting our jobs for decades.  We have become a global society with unlimited opportunities for those that are willing to open their eyes and embrace the possibilities.

We are the visionaries.  We hold the keys.

Now go out there are share this philosophy with those that are less fortunate than we are!

The Best of Times. The Worst of Times.

Cheryl,

I personally believe these are the BEST of Times for our industry. As you already stated in your article above history tells us that most new millionaires are created during recessions. I truly and totally believe that!

Let's go get 'em!

more wealth is created....

I think that more and more people are starting to see that they can no longer be dependent on a J O B as a way to make ends meet for themselves and family. I want to get out the facts of what we all are trying to do and teach more people how to make more $.

wealth creation

Absolutely Alex.
I couldn't agree with you more. More people than ever are starting to seriously look for alternatives. I, for one, will be happy to show them that there is another way!

Vision

Great read Cheryl,
As with the Great Depression, historically more millionaires are created in difficult economic times than any time. There was an article I read recently that underscored this by stating that the rich got richer in this time period that most are calling a recession. I think the first place a recession starts is in your mind. If you don't have a vision and see this ass a time to prosper, you won't.

That is why you are a visionary

Fontella, thanks for adding your perception. Yes, the rich are getting richer. While most people are not buying luxuries, people will continue to spend money on the things that they feel will help get them ahead. I feel for the now retiring baby boomers that can not or will not take their blinders off. The gap is widening and we need more people to rise to the top.

I know a train that is heading that way, will you be on board?

An Old Saying

"When you cannnot run, walk: When you cannot walk: sit: and have the wisdom to know the difference. In my 30 years of watching the economy go up and down, there is one thing for sure, when it is bad, it's going to get better and when it's good, it's going to get worse! The Key is to learn how to apply the old saying above to all situations in life and in business. We will see if we have anyone to comment on the old saying. Having been successful in all types of business environments and in all types of markets for 30 years, this is some of the best advice I can offer. Thanks Cheryl!! Blessed to be a Blessing

Your statment 'When every one else in the world can only see the doom and gloom that surrounds us, aren't we really the lucky ones?' I'd like to say we are blessed to be a blessing. And, it is truly a blessing to share this philosphy with others as you suggest.
