Kind Readers,

Wishing you all a Sunny and Fabulous day!! We have a beautiful day here in San Francisco!

I am feeling an early Spring here....warmth , ray of sunshine is here with us.....today!

One of my favorite statements from Dr. Napoleon Hill as he explains the success formula: " Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve!" As he was sharing his wisdom with his mentor billionaire Andrew Carnegie.

Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883 – November 8, 1970) was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. He is widely considered to be one of the great writers on success.[1] His most famous work, Think and Grow Rich (1937), is one of the best-selling books of all time (at the time of Hill's death in 1970, Think and Grow Rich had sold 20 million copies).[2] Hill's works examined the power of personal beliefs, and the role they play in personal success. He became an advisor to President Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933-36.

Andrew Carnegie (November 25, 1835 – August 11, 1919) was a Scottish-American industrialist, businessman, and entrepreneur who led the enormous expansion of the American steel industry in the late 19th century. He was also one of the most important philanthropists of his era.

Carnegie was born in Dunfermline, Scotland, and migrated to the United States as a child with his parents. His first job in the United States was as a factory worker in a bobbin factory. Later on he became a bill logger for the owner of the company. Soon after he became a messenger boy. Eventually he progressed up the ranks of a telegraph company. He built Pittsburgh's Carnegie Steel Company, which was later merged with Elbert H. Gary's Federal Steel Company and several smaller companies to create U.S. Steel. With the fortune he made from business among others he built Carnegie Hall, later he turned to philanthropy and interests in education, founding the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Carnegie Institution of Washington, Carnegie Mellon University and the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.

I recommend to you this fantastic book from Napoleon Hill, "Think and Grow Rich" , it is one of my ultimate favorite books for all times! Especially for our minds, independent and creative thinkers, Entrepreneurs. Go get it soon!

All Success begins with a CLEAR Purpose, for what is it that you want in life ?!

Folks, positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action.

Whatever the mind expects, it finds.

Not everyone accepts or believes in positive thinking. Some consider the subject as just nonsense, and others just often ignore and look down at people who believe and accept it. Among the people who accept it, not many know how to use it effectively to get results. Yet, it seems that many are becoming attracted to this subject, it is natural, positive attracts, as evidenced by the many books, lectures and courses about it. This is a subject that is gaining popularity.

It is quite common to hear people say: "Think positive!", to someone who feels down and just simply worried. Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they really mean, or do not consider them as useful and effective. How many people do you know, who stop to think what the power of positive thinking means?

Let's keep it simple, shall we?!

What do we learn from these two stories? Stories about 2 men interviewing for a job position, for example a job position as a Marketing Director at Facebook. Let's say A, the interview will be on Monday morning at 9 AM, the weekend prior the interview, he was partying, he did not research well about the position, about the company, he did not study well, he under estimated the situation for this coming Monday, he did not eat right, he did not exercise, he did not prepare at all. Come Monday morning, he woke up late, did not have his breakfast, he did not iron his shirt and we walked into the office for the interview and he did not study, he did not prepare preperly, he did not have a vision.

Okay, let's go to the second scenario, let's say B, he will have the same exact interview will be on Monday morning at 9 AM, the weekend prior the interview, he was studying diligently, he researched well about the position, about the company, he took care him self, he had vision, projection and positive spirit about the situation for this coming Monday, he ate healthy and right, he exercised, he had enough sleep, he prepared well,  all balance with his mind, body and spirit,  he was organized, calm and collected. Come Monday morning, he woke up early,  had his breakfast, he ironed his shirt and we walked into the office for the interview with confidence and ooze a positive spirite and he did not study, he prepared him self just perfectly.

Guess what folks? Who achieved success and who got the job??

Yes, B  Of Course!! Is there any magic employed here? No, it is all natural.

When the attitude is positive we entertain pleasant feelings and constructive images, and see in our mind's eye what we really want to happen. This brings brightness to the eyes, more energy and happiness. The whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even the health is affected in a beneficial way. We walk tall and the voice is more powerful. Our body language shows the way you feel inside.

Tips for Happiness in Daily Life

According to one of my favorite writers, regarding achieving success consciousness, Remez Sasson ,

Daily life can be made happier. It is a matter of choice. It is our attitude that makes us feel happy or unhappy. It is true, we meet all kinds of situations during the day, and some of them may not be conductive to happiness. We can choose to keep thinking about the unhappy events, and we can choose to refuse to think about them, and instead, relish the happy moments. All of us constantly go through various situations and circumstances, but we do not have to let them influence our reactions and feelings.

If we let outer events influence our moods, we become their slaves. We lose our freedom. We let our happiness be determined by outer forces. On the other hand, we can free ourselves from outer influences. We can choose to be happy, and we can do a lot to add happiness to our lives.

What is happiness? And is there any relations of perceiving happiness with having positive thinking in our lives?

Yes of course! Happiness and Positive Thinking are always going hand in hand. It is a feeling of inner peace and satisfaction. It is usually experienced when there are no worries, fears or obsessing thoughts, and this usually happens, when we do something we love to do or when we get, win, gain or achieve something that we value. It seems to be the outcome of positive events, but it actually comes from the inside, triggered by outer events.

For most people, happiness seems fleeting and temporary, because they allow external circumstances to affect it. One of the best ways to keep it, is by gaining inner peace through daily meditation. As the mind becomes more peaceful, it becomes easier to choose the happiness habit.

Here are a few tips for increasing happiness and practice positive thinking in daily life:

1) Endeavor to change the way you look at things. Always look at the bright side. The mind may drag you to think about negativity and difficulties. Don't let it turn into negative feeling. Look at the good and positive side of every situation.

2) Think of solutions, not problems. Make a difference, you are capable to help your self and to help others.

3) Listen to relaxing, uplifting music. You deserve a peaceful and a serene, a gentle environment to your self.

4) Watch funny comedies that make you laugh and enlighten your day.

5) Each day, devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring and motivational book or article.

6) Watch, control your thoughts. Have vision, create good thought. Whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, start thinking of pleasant things.

7) Always look at what you have done and not at what you haven't. Be thankful and be grateful everyday. You can choose to have a good and positive life, have a life purpose.

Sometimes you may begin the day with the desire to accomplish several objectives. At the end of the day you might feel frustrated and unhappy, because you haven't been able to do all of those things.

Look at what you have done, not at what you have not been able to do. You may have accomplished a lot during the day, and yet you let yourself become frustrated, because of some small things that you did not accomplish. You have spent all day successfully carrying out many plans, and instead of feeling happy and satisfied, you look at what was not accomplished and feel unhappy. It is unfair toward yourself.

8) Each day do something good for yourself. It can be something small, such buying a book, eating something you love, watching you favorite program on TV, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach. Simple pleasure, simple things are the essence of life. Remember to smell the roses, to hear the ocean waves, my significant other, Perig loves to enjoy simple things in life, he taught me and shared with me so much of values of appreciating simple things, like a cup of coffee, a cup of tea that often made funny faces, cooking, taking a walk together, live your life to the fullest!

9) Each day do at least one act to make others happy. Act of Kidness always go along the way! This can be a kind word, helping your colleagues, stopping your car at the crossroad to let people cross, giving your seat in a bus to someone else, or giving a small present to someone you love. The possibilities are infinite. When you make someone happy, you become happy, and then people try to make you happy.

10) Always expect happiness. Aim high, sky is the limit. Be faithful, be hopeful and take action.

11) Do not envy people who are happy. On the contrary, be happy for their happiness. Be sincere, be kind to others.

12) Associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy. Remember, happiness is contagious.

Happiness and Positivity are the keys. We love to associate ourselves with good and positive people, it is natural.

13) Do your best to stay detached, when things do not proceed as intended and desired. Detachment will help you stay calm and control your moods and reactions. Detachment is not indifference. It is the acceptance of the good and the bad and staying balanced, staying in control. It does not mean that you are ignoring the situation, it just means you need to stay balance and clear headed and ready to approach and tackle the situation when the time is right. Detachment has much to do with inner peace, and inner peace is conductive to happiness and positivity.

14) Smile more often. Smile and the whole world will smile with you!

Folks, be thankful, say your gratitude, be positive, be kind to one another, take courage each and everyday!

The power of positive thinking can be implemented with patience, faith and training each and every day.

God Bless! Have a Blessed day!
