Where Are Your Thoughts Leading You? – Positive Mental Attitude (PMA)

It is so much easier to have a negative view, outlook, attitude about life and what life brings because that is mainly what is portrayed to us in the media. All around us screams negativity and we consume it consciously or subconsciously.

• A leader can not and does not allow negativity to effect his / her judgment.
• A leader does not let negativity hold them back or let it get in the way of making positive progress.

A Leader MUST Have A Positive Mental Attitude

Would you follow someone who was always negative about things?

NO, neither would I.

Even in a bad situation there can always be a positive outcome or at least a better way. A real leader knows this and will seek it out.

From time to time you will hear people say “I’m not being negative, I am being realistic.” This implies that people who think positively are not thinking realistically. I assure you that a real leader thinks more realistically than most.

They weigh up all the facts of the situation and calmly construct the best solution based on the facts and best desired outcome.

A leader with a PMA does not doubt themselves. They know where they are heading and they are not scared to make ‘mid-course’ adjustments to get there.

A leader knows there will be obstacles in the way and they also know that there will always be a way through them.

Where Are Your Thoughts Leading You?

If you are not making forward progress, then you are standing still or worse yet moving backwards. The reason for this will be your negative thoughts about your situation.

Allow me explain.

The negative thinker: I can’t do PPC, I am never going to be able to get enough leads to make my business work.

The positive thinker: I can’t do PPC. How can I get my PPC done so that I can get enough leads to make my business work?

The same situation with two completely different ways of thinking about it.

It is easy to predict who will have the better business.

If you think negative the results you get will be negative and the life you live wont be the one you want to live.

Good and bad can be gained from every situation. A leader knows this and only wants to gain the good.

The reason why I refer to leaders is because if you are in business as a network marketer you have to be a leader to make any real money. FACT

What Negative Thoughts Did To Me

Most of us began marketing online because offline marketing methods were not working for us.

We did the positive thing and searched for another way.

We arrive online and find that there are hundreds of ways to make things work (information overload).

I personally stayed away from PPC because it scared me to death not because it doesn’t work, but because I was scared to loose my money to it.

I didn’t try to find another way around it. I completely left it alone.

HUGE MISTAKE!

Let me highlight here that it was my negative thinking about PPC that effected me and my business not PPC itself.

Now I have found another way to handle PPC and my business is in a better place for it.

Simple negative thoughts can hold you back without you even realizing it.

This is why you need to constantly have a positive mental attitude about everything that you do.

You may never know what you miss out on if you don’t allow yourself to explore the possibilities.
