Why Setting Goals Are Important

Goals are Critically an important part of having success at anything you do in life wouldn't you agree?

" Those who fail to plan, plan to fail"

 As someone that's striving for success you should always dream and set goals.Goals are very important for you to measure your progress and to give you some feed back on how your progressing as an individual or as a unified team.No matter what you do in life you should have goals.i'll share a personal story with you on how setting goals made a huge difference in my life and then give you a few tips on how you can do the same i hope you can get  some huge value from my story as well as to put some goals in place in your life.

Personal Goals from 09-12

From July 2008 until march 2009 i lived out side of the U.S in the British Virgin islands where i grew up. I was having a very tough time adjusting to living back there because i was not satisfied with  myself and what i had accomplished up to this point in my life. I took a little break from the military and i soon realized this was  not as good of an idea as it seemed at that time. However during this period i learned a lot about myself and i got to a point where i was so miserable that i told myself im going to do something about. In January of 2009  i reapplied to go back to the army got accepted and left in March.Now what happened next was amazing. I told myself i would accomplish 3 things on this  3 year contract with the military and this would be a huge stepping  stone for me.I wrote this goals down and put a dead line on them and with in 18 months 2 of my 3 goals where accomplished and the 3rd is still in progress.(if you'd like to know what those goals where Comment below and ill share them with you ).

I shared that with you because it's important to have vision when setting goals and have a definite understanding of what it is you want to accomplish so that your goals can be in stone and clear to you and your accountable partner
