You Need To Work Your Goals

When you set goals the most important task to do next is follow through on them.
Most people start off setting their and then implement them for a week or two and then give up on them.

What happens is most people find the goals that they would like to achieve, they then make a conscious effort to start making that goal work for them. They put all their attention and effort into reaching their goal and making it a reality.

Some time goes by and nothing visible happens. This is when the person gets discouraged as they have put all their motivation into reaching their goal but instead they feel like they have been kicked in the teeth.

Unfortunately this is what happens so many times and a lot of people get to this stage and then think what the hell why am I wasting my time and effort. So they give up.

However this is where you need to get tough on your emotions. You may think that nothing has happened but you might not be able to see what's happening. For instance you had already changed your way of thinking and you had your motivation in the right place you just need to stick with it.

When we are working towards anything it can be hard you may not achieve it the first time round but you should just pick yourself up, dust yourself off then try again. An example of this when you were a child learning to ride your first bike, did you not fall off heaps of times when learning but with persistence you got back on that bike and kept trying until you succeeded.

Well it's exactly the same when working towards these goals, we need to pick ourselves up and try again. Sometimes the way to think about it is to remember - there are no unrealistic goals, only unrealistic time frames. So feel your discouragement and let it dissolve.

Try reavaluating your thinking and look at what you have done and realign your
strategies. If one way does not lead to success don't give up at that point - simply try another. If you stick to a goal you will reach it.
