Someone We Are Not, Really?

Most people think they have to become someone they are not in order to be successful in Network Marketing.  They read books that describe what a good network marketer has.  Most of us will see the advice and realize we can never be that person.

The good news is we do not have to change who we are in order be become successful.  We may be required to learn some new skills but learning new skills does not change who we are. 
 
I learned to ride a bike, drive a car, and be a parent.  However, all that did not change who I am.  I just improved who I am by learning skills I need.  It is the same in network marketing.
 
When we read a book or hear an advice that tells us we must change than I feel we must run from that advice.  However, if it is to teach us skills and gives us tools we need than it is something we can look at. 
 
The best skill in network marketing we must learn is having the skill to understand people and their desires.  After all we are here to help other people.  We are here to share our services and products to people who need them.  In order to know what they need we must learn the skill of studying people.
